This news just has me waiting for the Rapture. I read about yellowstone before and the swarms. Im waiting now for Jesus to return to lay vengance upon liberals/marxists. etc

These swarms of earthquakes for many years are a pre-cursor to the vengance of Jesus tht He said He would lay uopn the unfaithful.

I am waiting to be raptured as I have been faithful and believing of Lord Jesus. I believe in Jesus whole heartedly.

Ive been a scumbag and charlatan my whole life. I now believe in Jesus and I deserve to be saved.

I now believe in Jesus and the bad deeds in my life are now erased. All I need to to is accept Jesus as my Savior and all is forgiven.

You’re mention of the hot springs reminded me — two and a half years ago, we brought our daughter and two friends up to YNP. We stayed in Gardiner in a cabin out by the river. Rode horses for several hours, and then went to a an area where the springs fed into the river. It really took the soreness out, sitting in that hot water.

That sounds like the bOiling River, which is just inside the Park. I am long over due for a soak there. My favorite is just across the valley from me, it is called Chico Hot Springs. The best time to go soaking is when it is 20 below.

God bless you!

If you belong to Jesus Christ, by His saving grace and mercy, I will see you in the rapture, then!

Hallelujah!

That was it - the Boiling River. Wonderful.

SIL and her family go to Chico. Haven't been there yet- hopefully his thing won't blow and we'll make it there someday.

That area you live in has some of the most beautiful scenery on earth -at least to me with my limited experience.

Thanks TG, I am very lucky to live where I do.

Some geologist believe that the continental plate has moved and the hot spot that is the caldera is now under mountains. They think, maybe, could be, that with the added weight of the mountains over the hot spot that a major eruption is not as likely in the short term, geological short term that is.

The series of major eruptions throughout geological time may not be as a reliable indicator to when, or if, the next eruption is “due”. The bottom line is that there is a great bit of uncertainty here as well as a wide range of theories from geologist. Personally, I ain't losing any sleep. If YNP blows I will try to make a quick post though to give you all a heads up...

At least the UN is not in charge!

The areas directly effected by three different past eruptions.

I knew a guy back in 1980 who from La. went to Washington State and filled as many bottles as he could with Mt. St. Helens ash. He came back and tried to sell the bottles for $10 each. Needless to say, the price kept going down until most of it went into the dumpster.

Nice to hear you may finally give a nod to some creationism. But now, since you ‘may’ be coming to accept that part of the Bible, Well, The Kingdom is coming soon. YS, is not really a problem.

"make money...volcanic ash"

After the Mt. St. Helens eruption, some of the local stores tried to sell bags of ash. I never saw anybody buy them nor heard anyone claiming to have bought some. How could you prove it anyway?

>>Nice to hear you may finally give a nod to some creationism.<<

I have always maintained that God created the Universe. The arguments have been about the mechanics thereof.

I am pretty sure the Bible says no one will know the end times, but I gotta say it sure feels like somethings gotta give...
