Palin's got Ohio on her mind
Politico ^ | 02-03-10 | DAVID CATANESE

Sarah Palin’s political action committee has been selective and strategic in its donations to candidates over the past six months, but if money is any indication of where her heart lies, her political loyalties can be traced to Ohio.

While SarahPAC has devoted just 5 percent of its total expenditures over that period to fellow GOP colleagues, four of the 17 candidates Palin contributed to hail from Ohio — the state where she held by far the most presidential campaign events in 2008, according to The Washington Post’s candidate tracker.

The former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential nominee gave $5,000 to former GOP Rep. John Kasich, who’s running for Ohio governor; $3,500 to former Rep. Rob Portman, who’s running for the state’s open Senate seat; $1,000 to Rep. Jean Schmidt; and $1,000 to state auditor Mary Taylor, whom Kasich recently tapped to be his running mate.

A GOP source familiar with Palin’s thinking said most of these candidates solicited Palin’s support. “She feels there is a real chance to turn the tide in Ohio,” said the source.

She lost Cuyahoga county buy about 260,000 votes in 2008 - 69% Obama/Biden to 30% McCain/Palin.

Hmmmmm..Cuyahoga county...that county with its eastern precincts reporting voting at 113-117% of registered voters...that Cuyahoga county??? ;)

As a concern troll for Palin, why don’t you show us your enthusiastic postings for her, from before she broke your heart and you had to turn against her?

I can show you many of your (reverse) concern troll postings on Romney where you just manage to always find the sun light for him.

The point of all this, is that you can start posting out in the open and quit playing games.

Learn to just call them as you see them.

ah well i am calling them as i see them
I am hoping for a fresh face in actuality though the jury is still out on the new VA Governor i have hopes for him. I also like what i see with THune and DeMint though i have no idea if either is even considering running.
again i reiterate any of my posts favorable to Romney or disparaging to Palin were in context to either previous posts or in relation to the article. i was either voicing concerns or relaying comparisons. you are a little bit over emotional my friend. AGain everything i have stated was true not a lie as you claim so get over yourself try to separate your emotions and maybe you could strive to be a better person

You have post after post of saying how much you love Palin BUT....

So show me one or two of your loving, pro Palin posts that doesn’t have the concern trolls BUT... included. Go ahead and look all the way back to your first mention (negative) of her in June 0f 2008.

Now look at your scathing (just kidding) Romney post of four days ago.

To: VRWCmember
there are some parallels between the Reagan campaign and Romney (before anyone flips out i am comparing the campaigns not the people nor their conservative bonafides).
Romney ran a pretty strong second last time around as Reagan did in 76. Not as strong as Reagan mind you but a good run.
Romeny is keeping his team intact. they meet quarterly if not monthly and he keeps his PACs going as well. the infrastructure is still there.
He campaigns for GOPers.
He has deep pockets and connections to other deep pockets.
Do i hope he will be the nominee? heck no i am just saying that he is well positioned for another run and has a decent shot at the nomination. especially if there are a ton of people vying for the nomination kind of like how McCain pulled it off this time around

lol and around around we go
what are you anyway a “Palinbot” - think she can do no wrong or is a Saint.
Honestly get over yourself.
Do you post every thought or opinion in every post? Do you?
i honestly think she is damaged goods
personally i like her but i dont think she could win a general national election as things stand now. could that change? maybe
you want me to post something nice about her to make you feel better? ok here we go
She knocked out that weasel Murkowski and made a great speech at the RNC in 2008
i like her conservative bonafides and admire the fact that she chose to keep her Down Syndrome son. we had a Down Syndrome family member so i felt a sort of connection and admiration to her there. I also have a signed copy of her book but i have not read it yet.
feel better now? this is no way changes my opinion that i think she cannot win a general election and that i would like some fresh faces to emerge who can win.
honestly get over your obsession with me i really did not think my opinions mattered to you that much.

You are not going to find anybody that electrifies the crowds like Sarah! She is a once in a generation candidate.

If you would just read one of my posts then you would know what I am saying, you use a fake style of posting called “concern troll”, just start posting in the open and quit lying about things like how you used to like Palin but.....

Also quit lying in the other direction about Mitt, telling us you don’t like him, but man let me tell you all these good things about him.

i dont like mitt i think he is a disingeneous flip flopper. I also dont like his MassHealth plan and think both of these hurt him in a national general election. also i am not so sure about how his religion would play nationally.
I am being sincere in all posts
you obviously cannot accept that fact and again are showing signs of obsession with me
oh and incidentally i guess i can start calling you a liar as well. you said you did not name call then point out that you indeed were calling me a “concern troll”. only thing i am concerned about right now is your mental health. this obsession with me and my posts - seek some treatment my friend.

The 2008 Cuyahoga county presidential election results were quite consistent with the Cuyahoga county election results from every other Presidential election in recent history. She lost Ohio in 2008 by around 260,000 votes. She's not going to make up those votes in Cuyahoga county, Lucas County, Franklin county, or Hamilton county. These are heavy dem areas dominated by a demographic that won't support her especially not over a black man.

Cuyahoga county Presidential election results, 1960–2008

Year____ Democrat_____Republican

2008: 68.50% 441,836-30.44% 196,369

2004: 66.57% 448,503-32.89% 221,600

2000: 62.62% 359,913-33.42% 192,099

1996: 60.75% 341,357-29.15% 163,770

1992: 52.72% 337,548-29.24% 187,186

1988: 58.79% 353,401-40.33% 242,439

1984: 55.65% 362,626-43.60% 284,094

1980: 50.02% 307,448-41.47% 254,883

1976: 56.03% 349,186-41.01% 255,594

1972: 48.15% 317,670-49.94% 329,493

1968: 53.95% 363,540-35.44% 238,791

1964: 71.50% 492,911-28.50% 196,436

I have demonstrated and made clear that anyone that chooses to look at your posting history will indeed see you using the “concern troll” method to attack Governor Palin.

What you haven’t demonstrated and made clear is that period of posting where you supported Palin or defended Palin without the concern troll buts..., I can post many, many of your “concern troll” postings where you claim that she is liked by you or that you think she is “awesome” or so on, but they are all about bashing her “concern troll” style.

Just for curiosity’s sake, do you think that you have promoted any candidate more than you have Mitt Romney?

lol again
instead of refuting anything i have said your response is “you like Romney” “you like Romney!” like some deranged Parrot
lol really now
i believe i stated i like the new VA governor but the jury was still out and that i am looking at DeMint and Thune though i am not sure who will run
I am going to look at candidates as they emerge as far as i can tell no one has officially announced anything have they.
only reason I comment on Palin, Romney or Huckabee is because the focus seems to be on them. i think Huckabee has no chance due to the recent cop shootings related to someone he let out on parole (rightly or wrongly the attack ads write themselves), i think Palin would energize the base but i dont think she wins over a majority of the squishy middle and that Romney would be tagged as a flipflopper with a horrible health care plan.
well this has been fun i just wish you had more to say to my reasoned arguments than “You like Romney!” i do feel as though i am talking to a parrot

You simply choose to ignore the revelation of your “concern troll” tactics.

I asked you a question that should be very easy to answer since you don’t like Mitt Romney. Do you think that you have promoted any other candidate more than you have Mitt Romney?

i wasnt aware that i was “promoting” anyone what am i Don King
where are your well reasoned rebuttals to any of my statements - oh yeah thats right here they are “You’re a concern troll you like Romney” just like the parrot lol
in summation i would like to say that i call them as i see them, your delusional name calling of “concern troll/Romney liker” are redundant, immature and at this point boring.
again i have commented on Palin, Romney and Huckabee because of articles or posts related to them at one point or another. when other candidates emerge i will comment on them as i see them as well
you can accept this or not parrot, i just really think you need to calm yourself. your emotions will be your undoing.
take care

By refusing to answer this simple question repeatedly “Do you think that you have promoted any other candidate more than you have Mitt Romney?” you show that you know the answer to it.

That is good, because I knew the answer before I asked you the question.
