A special grand jury has found that officers have smuggled drugs into the Henry County jail and have had sex with inmates, while administrators and supervisors have been inadequate in trying to stop the behavior.
The sheriff's office said in a news release that the two-year investigation has resulted in perjury charges against two people, Deputy Glenn Stokes and former Deputy Mary Markland.
