Chaplain Is Found With Blades at City Jail (Muslim ex-convict)
New York Times ^ | February 3, 2010 | AL BAKER

Posted on 02/03/2010 9:53:50 PM PST by Second Amendment First

A Muslim chaplain for the city’s Department of Correction showed up for work on Wednesday as he routinely does — entering the city jail in Lower Manhattan to minister to some of the roughly 900 male inmates there.

But when the chaplain, Imam Zulqarnain Abu-Shahid, flung his shoulder bag onto an X-ray machine at the entrance of the Manhattan Detention Complex, at 125 White Street, officers were alerted to the presence of metal. They found a pair of scissors and three metal blades, the kind used in box cutters, in the bag’s outer flap, the authorities said.

Imam Abu-Shahid was arrested and charged with various counts of promoting prison contraband.

Later, officials made another discovery: The chaplain was an ex-convict who had been found guilty with three other men of the murder of a customer during a robbery of a supermarket in Harlem in 1976.

Until we drop all this PC crap about Muslim Jihadists this is going to continue to happen because our government is not taking the threat of terrorism seriously this religion of death presents to our society. Barry needs to pull his head out of the sand on this and start being proactive against these killers or there will be more Fort Hood's and 9-11’s to come. He needs to step up and do it now before we get hit again.

three 1-1/2-inch-long straight razors and a pair of 7-inch scissors, authorities said...
Okay, I'm guessing today was going to be an arts and crafts session.

Exactly!

How else are they gonna follow mooHamhead's (Pigs be inseminating him) commands to kill the infidel, unless they have weapons?

"Barry" knows exactly what's going on, and his head is exactly where he wants it. More Ft. Hoods and 9/11s would suit him just fine.

The original dog in the manger had nothing on this guy: if the country won't adore him, he'll destroy it, either directly (through his economic policies) or indirectly (through the actions of his co-religionists).

“Despite the fact that he’s a staff person ... the officers went through his belongings.”

OK, next they're going to tell us prison staffers don't have to go through the security check?! Guess that might cut into their contaband income!

Anyway, why should ANYONE be allowed to bring a duffel bag on a prison visit?

This jihadi was employed by the NYC *government* TEN BLOCKS FROM GROUND ZERO.

LESSONS LEARNED FROM 9/11? Zero!

And the first to be fired should be Manet Napolitano's special little "girlfriend."

Full story here, excerpt below

Ever since Janet Napolitano became Homeland Security Secretary, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents warned me about her girlfriend, Dora Schriro, whom she brought with her from Arizona (where Schriro headed the Arizona Department of Corrections). Schriro, a bizarre woman with a Ph.D., treated prisoners as “clients,” her name for them, gave them birthday parties and cakes, etc. And Napolitano made Schriro her special advisor on immigration enforcement

I think it is scarier than that. I believe Barry believes his own hype and he is so narcissistic that he thinks that if people(and enemies of the US) will just hear his words they will fall in love with his vision of world and put aside all their differences and follow him to utopia. He ignores the real problems because they just don’t fit in with his vision. The way he sees it if he doesn’t acknowledge them then they don’t exist. Just listen to his SOTU speech and one can see that he believes he has lost no ground and everybody is still in love with his ideas and those that aren’t just have not had a chance to clearly hear him out or they are just lacking in intelligence to comperhend his vision of a peaceful utopia of progressivism through building the perfect society.

How long was the "chaplain" working in the prison system?
