Obama’s Newest Racemongering Judge: California’s Edward Chen
The Reality Check ^ | 16 October 2009 | Warner Todd Huston

President Obama has gone out of his way to “diversify” the federal bench with his spate of nominations of various minorities chief of which was his successful seating of the “wise Latina,’ Sonia Sotomayor, on the Supreme Court. Obama’s nominees* for 10 district court openings include four African-Americans, three Asian-Americans, one Latino and four women. One of those nominees, San Francisco U.S. Magistrate Judge Edward Chen, received a favorable vote in the Senate Judiciary Committee in Washington today.

So what sort of judge is Edward Chen? Well, for one, the left-wing American Bar Association rated Chen a “well qualified” nominee and many of his associates at the ACLU speak highly of him. As an ACLU lawyer, Chen was known for opposing English-only policies and for pushing discriminatory affirmative action ideals. He even came to the aid of gang members in one case. Chen was quite the ACLU activist between 1979 and 2001.

In Chen’s case we can see that the main influence on his judicial philosophy is an inordinate fear of racism. He sees it under his bed, in his closet, in the faces of everyone he meets. With this penchant in mind, can Chen honestly, dispassionately, and seriously serve effectively as a federal judge? One cannot help but wonder if his preoccupation with envisioning racism in every situation makes Judge Chen ill-suited for the federal bench where a dispassionate mien is required. It is easy to see that his constant resorting to charges of racism will likely color every decision he delivers.

Column is from Oct last year. I post this because he was recommended again on a party line vote this past week.

This guy should be fillibustered. Use the tactics the rats pulled against the decent men and women nominated by President Bush.

The ACLU is,was, and always has been a Communist (Progressive) front organization. Bambi just trying to sneak in another “Progressive”.

“Obama’s nominees* for 10 district court openings include...”

Easier to conclude that statement:

“...include 12 communists.”

This country almost went off the rails with Obamacare and was saved in the final seconds by Massachusetts and Scott Brown. Now we will be buried under these black hooded dictators who will disregard our Constitution and substitute their own deluded vision of a socially engineered dystopia.

They will outlaw homework since it favors traditional stable households and provides an unfair advantage to good homes rather than broken homes. This was tried in California. It is symbolic with what is wrong with the dogmatic liberalism that Obama is foisting upon the judiciary and our society and we are obligated to expose and reject it for the good of the country.

Sotomayor and the Racist New Haven Firefighter’s Exam Decision:
Sotomayor and the Ricci decision are like bacon and eggs for Obama, this is exactly what he wanted and what he planned. That your children may study and work hard, yet if the outcome is not of a politically correct racial designation then they will be put to the curb and thrown out with the trash. These firefighters studied their eyes out, and worked like dogs to pass the “racially approved” test and the ease and arrogance at which Sotomayor spit in their faces and canceled their dreams of advancement is beyond our belief in America as a nation of justice and fairness. What happened to the idea that hard work brings a worker a better life - not in Obama-Soto world, well, not if you are white firefighter who studies hard to pass a test.

The Sotomayor Ricci decision is the synecdoche of the Obama administration. This is what he unabashedly brings to the nation, and doesn’t bat an eye. Obama and his ilk will practice vicious reverse discrimination and place their cadres in higher and higher ranks within government who will act the same way and entrench our government with a deep and ugly prejudicial bias. Sotomayor proclaims it and was proud of it until the rest of the nation saw how ugly it really was.

I am glad the SCOTUS rejected her decision, it was unfair, and the the dissent was of such a weak stature that one knew that they really did not believe what they were writing. Liberals can be real hypocrites and phonies, and in fact this is the issue that they can be crushed on in November because over 70% of Americans believe this racial quota system is wrong.

Racism is wrong, period.

Yep, Hussein and Congress will attempt to further seed the judiciary with men and women hostile to the Constitution. At Scotus, we are one vote away from an Alinsky government.
