In my corner of Michigan, I doubt we’ve gotten 12 inches total snow all winter. There’s only about an inch on the ground now.
I checked the stats yesterday. 18.9” of snow for the season at Detroit Metro. It’s pretty pitiful.
My parents are in Hillsdale county and it is like that most of the years. It seems like very lower middle part of Michigan get the least amount of snow of all of Michigan. One year though it wasn’t like that, I don’t know if your old enough to remember the great blizzard in 79 or 80, (not quiet sure about the year) but it was a real whooper for that part of the Michigan, Only time I saw one snow plow pushing another through the snow on a emergency run in the evening and the next morning you couldn’t see where the road was because of the two feet of standing snow in the middle of the road.
