An 11-year-old girl in the Northeast recently gave birth to a baby boy, the girl’s family told Fox News.
"My daughter and (her) baby are fine, and the baby is absolutely beautiful," said the mother of the 11-year-old girl. The girl and her family are not being named in order to protect the new parent's privacy.
According to Dr. Manny Alvarez, managing health editor of FoxNews.com, the girl’s age places her in significant danger.
"A very comprehensive approach to her care needs to be instituted early in her pregnancy," Alvarez said.
A recent report by the Guttmacher Institute said teen pregnancies in the U.S. were up 3 percent in 2006. But this case is not about a teenager, noted Dr. Abdulla Al-Khan, a leading high-risk obstetrician — it’s about a pre-teen whose body is not yet built to carry a child.
"Her body is clearly not defined for pregnancy with its short stature," Al-Khan said. "Her chest is not extensively developed for breast tissue, her bones aren't quite fused, and once you expose a child this young to high amounts of progesterone and especially estrogen, there is (a possibility) that it could halt her growth."
Al-Khan said other medical challenges facing a pregnant girl as young as 10 or 11 include:
— The pelvis is not defined for natural childbirth;
— The vagina could sustain injury during a natural birth;
— The patient is at high risk for preeclampsia, a pregnancy condition marked by high blood pressure and protein in the urine, and which can lead to convulsions and multi-system organ failure;
— A higher risk of pre-term labor and delivery, which would mean the baby’s size would be compromised, leaving the baby at risk for developmental issues, fetal growth restriction and chromosomal abnormalities;
— Higher incidence of stillbirth;

An 11 year old girl in the Northeastern U.S. has given birth to a baby boy this past week. The name of the mother and baby have not been released for privacy reasons.
The girl's mother, the new grandmother says they are doing fine. She also said this:
"The baby is absolutely beautiful."
Eyewitness news reports that the girl and her baby are in custody and in the care of Child Protection Services, living with other relatives.
DNA test have been done and has led to the arrest of the girl's stepfather. who is now being held in prison and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.

The baby is a beautiful, little boy ,and I am glad both children are under the care of CPS.
Her "stepfather" needs to be tossed under the jail. He better not ever get out of prison due to liberal laws. This menace to society needs to spend the rest of his life there.

Whenever I come upon islamic scholars' references to "thighing" (i.e. rubbing the male member between the thighs of a prepubescent girl because she is not yet physically ready for sex), it is always justified in reference to the example of Mohammad with Ayesha (since Mohammad is Uswa Hasana, perfect man).

I certainly don’t condone sex with children but since our history books have been gleaned of all such PC facts here’s a little; Indians and early settlers routinely married off their daughters at 10 and a higher percentage of mothers gave birth at 12 than 14 initially. Then it was sixteen the ‘norm’ until the late 1800s. All this time the middle east people stayed in the past via their religion to this day so it’s not surprising that they still ‘worship’ this way. The worse thing that happened bac in the ‘olden’ days was the loss of both the youg mother and baby due to ‘complications’ such as torn birth canals and hip width not aide enough. It wasn’t easy back then on the girls.

Cultural norms change. IMO the difference between your examples and case like this are vast. This little girl was being raped by her father.
The movement to normalize adult child relations is doing so for self gratification and not for any semblance of a normal healthy relationship.
If this is true than the mother of the 11 year old should be locked up as well. How does someone let another person abuse their own child for 5 years and do nothing to stop it?

In progressive land, sex is promoted with no backward Victorian prudery. He did no wrong and is blameless. The societal wrong was not aborting the child.
