PALIN HITTING OBAMA ON SINKING US-JAPAN RELATIONS BIG HIT IN JAPAN MEDIA (My Translation from Tokyo)
Jiji Wire Services Press (in Japanese) ^ | 7 February 2010 | AmericanInTokyo

Posted on 02/07/2010 3:30:26 AM PST by AmericanInTokyo

Sarah Palin's knock 'em out of the ballpark Nashville Address last night is already causing major tidal waves on thie other side of the Pacific Ocean.

In her Tea Party address, Gov. Palin took the Obama Administration to serious task over plummeting US-Japan relations. She specifically mentioned that Japan is the KEY AMERICAN ALLY IN THE PACIFIC and clearly crossed swords with Barack Obama over his treatment of this critical bilateral tie.

Anyone who knows the Japanese media will know that when Japan is specifically talked about by name and particularly by a major US leader, ears perk up and the presses run. Below is my rough translation of went out throughout Japan to all media outlets via the Japanese version of AP Wire, "Jiji Press". Media is already starting to pick it up. YAHOO!Japan is playing it as a top news story, tagged "New!", same headline and Jiji disptach. CNN Japan running story, too, but they cannot get their facts straight. They refer to the Tea Party as a "Conservative GOP Organization"(sic). At any rate, I suspect the story will play in hard copy major national circulation dailies tomorrow our time (Monday) her in Tokyo.

FR was the genesis of the big explosive controversy over his idiotic and ill-advised, awkward bow to the Emperor here in Tokyo in November.

We smacked them down good on that because their PR forces in D.C. and on the road in Asia during that trip had little to no Japan experience and were winging it saying that Obama's faux pas was not a faux pas. They were proven wrong by the experts and humiliated by FR...then lots of US agencies picked up our work and it went from there. It is interesting that this Gibbs character cryptically said down in Singapore on the next Asian stop "the President cant spend his time all day reading rightwing blogs and worrying about whether his bow was appropriate or not."

When I saw that I knew IMMEDIATELY that Obongo had probably logged on to FR to see what was up or had aides working it to give him reports. No doubt in my mind. Sidebar shout out to Obama. Hey jugears, how goes it!!?

Not very Presidential if he has to spend time reading blogs of those that disagree with his ineptness. Really kind of sad that so many millions had such lofty high hopes that he would be their spiritual water bearer.

I also agree that Sarah Palin can be a great inspiration to the women of Japan that were for many centuries not given the advantages of the male oriented Bushido (is that correct?) society.

Oh don’t worry. The NYT will dig and dig and find out who is putting together words for Sarah’s mouth, She could never come up with real policy on her own. They never look into who writes Bambi’s teleprompter feed. He scribbles it all out long hand on his yellow legal pads. Genius, pure gensius

Yea, right.

Thanks for posting.

How is the 0bama admin’s handling of Toyota playing out in Japan?

http://www.redstate.com/edward_mosby/2010/02/02/of-obama-uaw-and-toyota/

Transportation Secretary, Ray LaHood, brags about how they went to Toyota’s headquarters in Japan to “wake them up?” Even after Lahood smears Toyota as “safety deaf” and threatens that they’re “not done with Toyota?”

I was hoping Sarah Palin would say, “Look, obaMA, no teleprompter!” First thing I noticed when she stepped up to speak.

“How long did Palin talk about Foreign Policy?”

We will find out during her first State of the Union speech after 2012.

The idea of John Bolton as the new Evil Right-Wing Genius in the White House warms my heart.

Picturing talking head Liberals’ heads exploding at such a development warms even my toes.

My goodness AIT, if Sarah Palin did travel to Japan I’d suspect Moose would be a trendy menu item with perhaps classes given on how to field dress and cook moose.

I’m half joking about that.

Obama is actually becomming Carter’s Second Term.

I sense the hand of former Ambassador John Bolton in that speech.

I thought much the same thing. Either GMTA or it's validation that it's true. (Perhaps both?)

I bet even the term "Tea Party" has a nice warm, traditional ring to the Japanese people.

They break two commandments or precepts that I can think of when they do that to Sarah. Thou Shalt Not Lie and Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness Against Your Neighbor.
