WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama's top counterterrorism adviser says he's tired of lawmakers and others criticizing the administration's actions concerning the Christmas airliner plot.

John Brennan says some in Washington are using national security as ''political football'' for partisan purposes. He says they're trying to micromanage the case with a ''500-mile screwdriver'' that stretches from the Capitol to the scene of the attack in Detroit.

I think it’s a requirement for this administration. If you want to work for us, you have to be a pussy.

Brennan got his job the old fashioned way. Corruption.

During the presidential campaign his firm breached the passport files of Obama, Clinton, and McCain. The media naturally assumed someone from the Clinton or McCain camps were behind it.

Dear Mr. Brennan,
Of course nobody should criticize the anti-terrorism efforts of this administration since all terror related security problems until 2012 are actually Bush’s fault.

Obama has already solved any upcoming terror attacks do to his worldwide apology and butt kissing tour.

These ass clowns are going to get 100,000 Americans killed

You mean like Obama did and still does?

The shoe is on YOUR foot now. How’s that feel?

Big boy britches are still too ‘risky’ for Brennan to wear.

Nothing but cry babies. They can’t even take Fox News and they are going to fight Al Qaeda?

It’s funny after watching the savage attack on Bush for seven years, now they are sensitive to criticism. Grow up. It’s a democracy, for as much as you want to change that, we still have the First Amendment and we will use it to protect ourselves.

How do you plea bargain with a terrorist who tried to kill 300 innocent people? Hilder reduces his sentence! A reduced sentence! What are our citizens lives worth?

Obama and Holder have done a terrible disservice to this nation - and they wanted a political show trial in NY which thankfully is not going to happen. They deserve the criticism.

Brennan is just another of Obamas “experts” who couldn’t strategize his way out of a paper bag.

Gee, my recollection is that the Democrats used every single thing that George Bush did, said, thought, or sneezed as a "political football," starting from the night he was elected and continuing right through to this very day, even though he's not been President for more than a year.

But we're not supposed to criticize this incompetent, bumbling, half-witted administration because we fear the political pigskin accusation? Give me a break.

Every time this moron's boss talks about the "mess we inherited" he's using W as a political football.

That’s because they couldn’t identify the bodies! Hard to identify after they’ve been blown apart by a bomb.

“I think those counterterrorism professionals deserve the support of our Congress,” he said. “And rather than second-guessing what they are doing on the ground with a 500- mile screwdriver from Washington to Detroit, I think they have to have confidence in the knowledge and the experience of these counterterrorism professionals.”
