Republicans vs. Republicans? Meghan McCain Rails at the Tea Party (BARF ALERT!!!)
ABC News ^ | February 08, 2010 | staff

Posted on 02/08/2010 11:26:18 AM PST by Baladas

ABC News' Huma Khan reports: Meghan McCain, the daughter of former GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and a self-described “progressive Republican,” today assailed the tea party movement.

Sitting in as co-host on “The View” today, McCain said she has ideological differences with the movement.

She specifically took aim at remarks by former Congressman Tom Tancredo, who suggested that people who voted for President Obama could not pass a basic civics literacy test.

“People who would not even spell the word vote or say it in English put a committed socialist ideologue in the White House... named Barack Hussein Obama," Tancredo said last week as he kicked off the Tea Party convention in Nashville, Tenn. He also ripped Sen. McCain for being a repeat of "Bush 1 and Bush 2."

“It’s innate racism, and I think it’s why young people are turned off by this movement,” McCain charged of Tancredo’s remarks. “Revolutions start with young people, not with 65-year-old people talking about literacy tests and people who can’t say the word vote in English. It’s ridiculous.”

Okay, okay, the "barf alert" thing was unnecessary, but this little fat girl is what the MSM is hoping to be the person that takes Sarah Palin and others down again. Please, please, please, do the country a favor and vote her father out of office, please.

Meghan McCain herself is enough reason to support JD—and she should have been enough reason for Sarah, too.

Poor little Megan - she must be using Daddy as an example of what a Republican is all about. No wonder she is dazed and confused.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, should be more nervous about being in the sights of the T.E.A Party than RINO’s. No wonder she’s squealing.

Full disclosure. ABC’s parent company, Disney, also owns the publishing company that will be putting out Meghan McCain’s book later this year.

More good cop — bad cop from the McCains.

Cindy does a high profile ad supporting gay rights, Meghan is a hardened leftist always in the news, but Juan McCain is all over telling us that he’s a die-hard conservative.

Pffft...only the foolish are fooled.

She said today on the View that she has another book coming out in September. She alluded to the fact that she’s going to take on Palin in this book, at least with respect to her experience with Palin in 2008’s election. IOW, she’ll probably be providing the nail to JD Hayworth that he’ll use to seal McCain’s political coffin.

Meghan McCain is an attention wh*re who presumes to speak for all “young” Republicans only because her Dad’s name is McQueeg. This individual is in reality a progressive idiot (i.e. getting dumber all the time; note: that's hard to do for Meghan). She prefers the Islamists or Taliban to American conservatives.

“Republicans” versus conservatives/libertarians is more like it. But that’s always the case. McCain Jr. is a Republican for no other reason than her dad—a Lindsay/Rockefeller-type Republican—was.

I personally consider Tancredo’s speech a bit over the top in some places but Meghan’s rants smack of desperation. If Daddy goes down in November her value to the libs as a renegade clown-princess will have abruptly expired and her time capering on the public stage will be over.

Best get that book out fast and make as many paid appearances as possible.

If the republican party divided itself between RINO republicans and conservative republicans you'd end up with 95% of the party in one group and McCain, his daughter and a few others in another group...and then the difference would more than be made up with independent conservatives who see a republican party that is no longer RINO.

My father was a tool and die maker, very skilled in operating machine tools, such as lathes.

As his son, he taught me a lot of things, but I could NOT get a job anywhere as a tool and die maker JUST BECAUSE HE WAS...even though I HEARD HIM TALK ABOUT HIS WORK ALL MY LIFE.

I say that, to say this, being McCain'ts daughter does not qualify li'l megan to carry his briefcase...much less be an expert on Republicans...her father sure isn't.

Her frothing at the mouth on the daily gossip gals show doesn't mean squat.

Meghan McCain is just another Cindy Sheehan. A tool to be exploited by the media to kick at the Republicans.

When they are “done” with using her, she’ll be cast aside.

They want her “view” bashing Republicans in 2010 (and maybe 2012 if Sarah Palin runs).

Conversely, as long as Sarah Palin does well, Levi Johnston will always have a job.

her Dad’s name is McQueeg.

Because she wants to live off Daddy's reputation, I humbly suggest that every time she is mentioned on FR, Meghan should always be called by her full name "Meghan McQueeg".

I've refrained from using that name with Meghan's father because I have some respect left for him (although those coals are dying quickly). Meghan McQueeg, on the other hand, seems to be nothing but a showboating air-head who is worthy of such a nickname. She has done nothing except earn contempt.
