A man and a woman suffered gunshot wounds to the head Monday afternoon at a technology park near the University of Central Florida, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
The shooter is dead at the scene of an apparent suicide at the Central Florida Research Park
The shooting happened at 1:11 p.m. today in the parking lot of an AT&T Wireless Call Center on Research Parkway, according to the sheriff's office.
The shooting victim, a woman, was shot multiple times, according to Cpl. Susan Soto of the Sheriff's Office. The woman is still still alive but is in very critical condition, the Sheriff's Office said. She has been taken to a nearby hospital.
The woman is married, but the shooter is not her husband, Soto said. Investigators are trying to identify the shooter.
The woman works at the call center and was walking back toward the building from an adjacent parking lot when she was confronted in the parking lot and shot, Soto said.
Witnesses told authorities a man used a gun to shoot a woman in the parking lot and then shot himself in the head, Sheriff's Office spokesman Jim Solomons said.
Orange County Fire/Rescue reported one of the victims is dead and paramedics were working to resuscitate the second person, who was shot in the head. Authorities did not identify either person.
Sheriff's deputies are at the scene.

Sad story ... but where in hell is the editor?
The Research Park is not the campus of the University of Central Florida. Its a business park, home of most of the high tech companies in Orlando.
Misleading headline. Apparently not a campus shooting.
The writer-editor-proofreader are all the same person these days. heh.
