Fox News has obtained a letter penned by House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) and Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) addressed to White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.
In the letter, they question the president's true commitment to Bipartisanship and implore the White House to conduct all talks in public. In addition, they also ask the president to take the reconciliation process off the table.
"Assuming the President is sincere about moving forward on health care in a bipartisan way, does that mean he will agree to start over so that we can develop a bill that is truly worthy of the support and confidence of the American people?
Eliminating the possibility of reconciliation would represent an important show of good faith to Republicans and the American people.
'Bipartisanship' is not writing proposals of your own behind closed doors, then unveiling them and demanding Republican support. Bipartisan ends require bipartisan means."

It's high time the Republicans stop letting Obama and the Dems get away with blatant lies.
It’s spine and guts time for all Republicans just as Zero’s poll numbers tank and his ship is sinking. The tsunami is rolling full steam ahead to November.
Rename, repackage, rewrite it a tad smaller, and sell another pig in a poke.
Tennessee has joined several other states in trying to pass a Health Care Freedom Act. NO COLAs for granny, retired Military or retired fed employees. BIG NEW fees for Tricare for Life retired over 65 Military's secondary health ins. (DOD bill already passed, delayed but goes into effect 2011)
New Dem mantra: Woof, woof eat dog food granny....ala let them eat cake.
If the reverse is done on both counts, then that is NOT bipartisanship: closed doors on health reform deliberation, and open doors on planning a televised summit.
Don’t take the bait, you people, DON’T take the bait...
I hope they don’t go.
If these guys let him, with the complicit media, get his feet back under him by letting them put up the pretense of "bi-partisanship" by grandstanding before the blatantly PARTISAN media they are as guilty of treasonous activity against the United States as this entire administration unquestionably is.
It’s about time.
I think this sudden invitation by Zeroman to the pubs is designed to shift public attention away from the stock market, unemployment and economic woes.
Truly shocking. Can they stick to their guns? They had better.
