NPR: Internet chatter had led to speculation that it might be an urban myth -- nothing more than clever digital trickery spreading via the Web.
But our friend Bob Collins at Minnesota Public Radio assures us he's seen it with his own eyes: There is a billboard along I-35 near Wyoming, Minn., with a huge photo of former president George W. Bush and this question: "Miss Me Yet?"

Oh, it’s even in the same color as the demotivator. Awesome!
LOL!
NICE..I said to my brother before the election that after a year in office, Obama will do one thing that no one else could..make people miss George Bush.
Lookie!
That’s funny right thar!
That is hilarious!!!
Causing liberals to spin off the road!
Zero’s ship is sinking; USS ObomoTitanic.
Since the Dems blame Bush for everything wrong perhaps we should get him back here ASAP to clean up the mess.
Ha! I do miss him. We are definitely not safe anymore. ‘Zero’ is getting ludacris and frightening.
I want one on my garage !!!!!!!!
I am sure this sends the public radio types running for their headache pills. But, yes, I miss him already. I started missing him on Jan. 21, 2009. I might not have agreed with everything he did, immigration reform for instance, but I never got the feeling he was trying to destroy our country and bring its people to their knees. And I never doubted that his first priority was to keep us safe.
hahaha make us miss bush and be worse than jimmy carter...
I want one here in Hollywood to scare the libtards in this city.
Powerful.
Where do I donate to the person to put up another one — preferably somewhere near the White House.

ROTFLOL!
2010 is going to be a year that the DemRats will never miss and one in which they will hope to forget!
Someone needs to put this up in times square.
How about it Minn FReepers? Anyone travel I35? Can anyone verify?
I think Dubya got far more of a bum rap than he deserved, especially during his last few years. America would have done better to elect Mad Magazine’s iconic idiot Alfred E. Neumann to the White House, than the Bummer.
Ya know, I disagreed with the man on a deal of issues, spending, illegal immigration, .etc, but I never doubted either his love of country, his desire to keep us safe, or the idea he did what he felt was best for the country.
And the fact that I cannot in good conscious say that about the sitting president, that truly scares the hell out of me.
Erect one of these highway billboards at every 8th exit apart.
Spongebob could have done a better job then Zero is doing right now. I do miss Bush..he has gotten a bum rap. Bush did one thing that I will always be grateful for, he kept this country safe. Let’s see, with Obama as President, how many times have we been hit already, 3 times..Christmas Day, Ft. Hood, if I’m forgetting another one please let me know. Bush understood we are at War with islamic extremists, Obama on the other hand is too busy bowing to them
My supervisor has an 0bama (ptui) bobble-head in the window I face while at my ‘puter.
I now have that billboard as my wallpaper.
Sauce for the goose indeed!
hahahahaha! i love that pic of him...
I like his lapel pin.
‘Miss Me Yet?’ Billboard With Photo Of Bush Is Real; Not An Internet Trick

Well I appreciate the link but trust a FReeper’s eyewitness account far more than an article by NPR. But thank you.

Yep, Obama is so over with.
I couldn’t agree more. When I see pictures of President Bush and the First Lady, I get a lump in my throat. There were grown ups in the White House then. They both look so mature, dependable, and steady.
Someday, people will line the streets for W, as they did for Reagan. They will remember that he steered them through a very bad time and protected them from very bad people. The media will be shocked then, just as they were when it happened for Reagan. They had no idea how the people really felt.
You must not think much of Reagan.
Any word from Wisconsin on veracity of this?

It’s on tee shirts too!
It figures that the left demands to know who did it so they can start the domestic terrorism against the person who does not share their beliefs.
Hope it’s true. Hope a lot more pop up around the country. >:oD
You can buy this bumper sticker at cafepress.com.
His second term, I did disagree with some things, but I ALWAYS FELT SAFE with him in command! HE DOES LOVE THE USA!!!
Share your sentiments. GW had more than a ‘few wars’ going on; and of those; most directed right at him personally. He was humble in his power and he was and always will be, a patriot. Do wish more of our Repub leadership would defend him. What Bush inherited from Clinton, was far worse than the challenges that Obama inherited.
LOL/ This from the people who still do not challenge the mystery of the 'who' of Obama. . .and the 'where/when/what'; for that matter.
Do they sell them billboard size? Maybe 20 x 40 feet or so?
Quoth NPR blogger Mark Memmott (via Drudge):
“At first glance, it would seem to be from some person or group who isn’t thrilled by President Barack Obama’s performance so far — unless it’s a more ironic message from those who didn’t think too much of Bush and want to remind voters about him.”
Yeah, must be the latter possibility.
I wish this would go viral across the nation, when we were searching for hope and true leadership President Bush gave us that hope to prevail against the enemies that prayed for our destruction..
Sadly those enemies still pray...in the Whitehouse.
