Safe Schools Czar Declares That Heterosexuality Is Not The Norm. If you think it is then you are a “heterosexist”.
In his efforts to “make public schools safe” GLSEN founder Kevin Jennings will introduce rules about what will not be allowed on public school campuses across this nation. Jennings has stated that if you express the belief that homosexuality is “psychologically, spiritually, or morally wrong” you are engaging in “heterosexism” which is a “prejudice” just like “racism, anti-Semitism, and sexism.” (GLSEN website)
Once liberals label something an “ism” you tend to get in trouble for doing it. Jennings narrates a video entitled, ‘Teaching Respect for All’. Most of it is a bitter discourse against parents, the clergy and heterosexuality. It is ill named “respect for all”. A few comments from the video:
· “We also have to deal with a problem called heterosexism. We’re all raised to see heterosexuality as kind of the norm.” · “Then of course you get your clergy person, which is, ah, where you play religious Russian Roulette.”
During this part of his commentary Jennings uses a flip chart and crosses out, with a single big X, parents, friends, and teachers [if the teacher is “heterosexist”] as people students struggling with same sex desires can not trust. When he reaches the word “clergy”, instead of putting an X through it, he obliterates the word with his marker. Who is left for the troubled student to go to for counseling? Why GLSEN and other homosexual affirming organizations or teachers.
Kevin Jennings wants parents to shut up while he bullies his way in to every public school classroom and indoctrinates your children to think like he does on this controversial subject.
And soon that “shut up!” may carry a legal punch.

this czars should have been gone a long time ago and why the hell does the likes of Beck who goes after these czars never mention Jennings.
Jennings is more of a threat than nay czar right now and not one person will go after him or does the likes of Beck ,Hannity etc not think this is worth covering

Heterosexuality/chastity is the norm. Gay is less than 5 percent but it is a LOUD 5 percent.
Given that around 98% of people are heterosexual, one wonders what it would take for “heterosexism” to be considered normative.
Someone should ask this asshat where the cutoff is. 98.3%? 99.6?

I'm a heterosexist and proud of it. BTW, regarding "norm" A standard, model, or pattern regarded as typical: the current middle-class norm of two children per family.
norm: 1. standard pattern of behavior: a standard pattern of behavior that is considered normal in a society; 2. usual situation: the customary situation or circumstances
How else would someone without an agenda describe the beliefs, values, genetic predisposition, and behavior of 98% of the population, other than as the norm?

I guess with 2 to 4 percent of the population being homo the rest must not be ones allowed to set the norm.
I don’t think this individual understands that the word “norm” has a precise meaning and that it isn’t judgmental, it’s only descriptive. Any society for which heterosexuality is not the norm is going to die out. That isn’t likely to change as long as we remain mammals.
