Italy Says Iranian Militia Attacked Its Embassy

Italy said dozens of members of Iran's hardline religious Basij militia had tried to attack its embassy in Tehran on Tuesday, but Iranian media described the incident as a student protest and did not mention any violence.

Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini told a Senate hearing: "About a hundred Basij dressed as civilians tried to assault the embassy shouting 'Death to Italy' and 'Death to (Prime Minister) Berlusconi'."

And as soon as the first couple Iranian nukes have detonated over Rome and Tel Aviv, they will seriously consider economic sanctions!

“Student Protesters” were trying to storm the Italian embassy. Yeah, I’m buying that. (They don’t even pretend to be telling the truth anymore)

agreed- western embassy employees and staff should be hightailing it out of that place, by boat if necessary!

AhmaNutjob promised the world a big iranian part-tay for tomorrow and sounds like seizing a western embassy might be the main course
