You know, troop, I’ve been a little bit jealous of you guys getting all that beautiful snow. We only get these piddling little “dustings” spread out over weeks. It has not been more than 3 inches combined since the end of Dec. Of course it’s enough for parishioners to call off church. LOL. Wimpy Christians. I’ve had more free time this winter than I’ve ever had. But snow? Not so much. We are on the Ohio and Kanawha Rivers. I think that moderates our weather. Some of the local folk say it’s due to the power plants. LOL.
The weather people say the same things about the “official” weather being at Reagan National. Being adjacent to the Potomac waters distorts the readings.
When all around DC got 24 inches, Reagan reported 15 inches. But even with the lower amount, DC still surpassed the record 1890s snow fall record.
Hope your spring now comes early since you’ve lack some good snow falls.
