The rebellious former allies – Deborah Courtney, Barbara Coe and Marvin Stewart – improperly ousted Gilchrist as president of the organization he founded, Judge Randell Wilkinson said.

The issue now is whether Gilchrist can prove damages. In the past, Gilchrist has claimed $3 million in damages on behalf of the MMP. Presumably he'll try to show the drop off in fundraising since the dissidents started agitating. Trial resumes today. Coe has settled, so she's not on the hook.

Courtney has told me she's already lost everything – including her house and car – fighting Gilchrist in court. She and Stewart represented themselves.

It might help if you left the line about Minuteman in the story. Then we would know what it was about. Thanks for being a patriot

If you want to know what will happen to the tea party movement, look at what happened to the minuteman movement.

In the news today is Ron Paul saying that he is dis-associating with the tea party because it has been taken over by the NeoCons.

He is talking about Palin's very close and exclusive association with Randy Scheunemann.

Others have pointed the analogy of Tancredo attending both the first Minuteman event in AZ and the first Tea Party event in TN.

I think not - you see the idea behind illegal immigration did not go away because of the problems in minuetman. The tea Party is already affecting change via local elections, changes in state party groups and the use of blogs to push the message of smaller government. It is so diverse that nobody in TN runs what is happening in MA or TX.
