At least a socialist. How else could the writers of the comic (or, if you buy this new spin, the letters?) portray a sign that says STOP THE SOCIALISTS as bad, if socialism were not a great good?

I’ve got to get to my local comic shop and see if they have any issues left and get them before they gone.

Notice the “Una bomber” knock off in the lower left hand corner of the graphic?

I didn’t realize that Marvel was a racist organization.

Notice how the depicted crowd is very much manifesting sour-pussed facial features, if not outright sinister, and also wearing dark shaded glasses.

Notice the Una bomber knock off in the lower left hand corner of the graphic? Good eye! A little subliminal message from Marvel?

They look like a typical Leftist / Anarchist protest, and look nothing like an average Tea Party crowd.
Projection.

IOW, they’ve just turned the first edition of the comic in to an instant, high-value, collector’s item.
To: Domandred
I agree and will be right behind you. Could end up being a great investment.

Actually the sign doesn’t bother me. The real problem is this “The Falcon jokes that he likely would not be welcomed into the crowd of “angry white folks.””.
So the snide comment that anti-tax protesters are just racists gets a pass, but the sign is the problem?

Yes, they've just created a "collector's item", and probably given this story new legs.
I think the Captain America character would applaud the tea partiers, regardless of whether he agreed with their message. That First Amendment thing, y'know?

A "tea bag" reference in a recent Captain America comic book that has angered the Tea Party movement will be removed by Marvel Comics in future editions, the story's writer told FoxNews.com. How many reprints do they do these days?
Empty promise.

They re-wrote Captain America to have a back story of 100s of black guys experimented on before they got to the formula for the white Captain America.
Most went crazy, become monsters, and/or were killed by the evil US military.
A handful survived, one of which is “Black Captain America.”
Typical liberal tripe.

Ed Brubaker, who wrote the story, told FoxNews.com he did not write the "Tea Bag The Libs Before They Tea Bag YOU!" sign shown in the edition, insisting that the words were added by someone in "lettering or production" just before being shipped to the printer. So someone in the Marvel-Disney organization made an editorial decision to make some changes.
But will this individual ever be named?
"Memo to Bachman and the rest of the tea crowd -- We had a revolution already, it's called an election," Brubaker tweeted on Nov. 5.
Translation: "Sit down and SHUT UP."
Land of the taxed, home of the sheep.
