Look, if they made an honest mistake, then I can accept this as an apology.

This is what happens when a comic publisher takes sides. They alienate 50% of their viewership (much like actors do).

“...because it’s just one of those stupid mistakes that happened through a series of stupid incidents. “

No it isn’t, you liberal creep, and saying it is the OPPOSITE of “owning up”.

From what I have heard, it is not just the signs. The entire story line is hostile to anti-government-growth protesters. The explanation does not cover it.

“Mistakes were made” is impersonal and passive. Owning up is personal and impassive.

It was also the remark that there are no blacks in the crowd that shows that this was no innocent blunder.

I don’t care enough to accept their apology.

Good. This just goes further to demonstrate to everyone that the pervasive leftist bias in this country goes deeper than anyone thought. Who would have guessed you’d see leftist garbage in a comic book? And a comic book about Captain America, no less? By the time these leftist a-holes are done, they will have finally revealed themselves to everyone, wherever they are.

"Where Mr. Houston is correct is in our accidently identifying in one of the held up signs, the group as being a part of the Tea Party instead of a generic protest group. That’s something that we need to apologize for and own up to, because it’s just one of those stupid mistakes that happened through a series of stupid incidents. "

Sorry not buying it

heck, they may be getting tax credits for doing this. I recall an article about a decade ago describing how broadcasters were getting tax credits for putting social-behavior messages (mainly anti-drug i think) into their content.

Marvel comic books jumped the shark in the early 90’s. The number of issues they sold peaked in the mid 80’s. If it wasn’t for their film franchises which mostly work off their pre-collapse story lines, they would already be out of business. Part of the reason for their collapse is they no longer can keep any consistency in their characters and suffer from attention deficit disorder. The current crop of creative talent is also adamantly left-leaning and enamored by group think in the entertainment business.

I remember when Superman stood for “Truth, Justice and the American Way” he'd have none of Marvel’s BS.
