Sorry. Everyone knows what “a pathway to citizenship” means. You’re wasting your time blowing smoke.

So explain it to us peons. Then define amnesty. Show me where they are synonyms. Who is it that has the power to grant amnesty in the case of tens of millions of illegals? You’re the one blowing smoke. If you don’t have the answers, just admit it.

Uhmmm...Congress. Duh.

Most FReepers are well aware of what a pathway to citizenship means. It's DC-talk for amnesty. Everybody knows it. Who are you trying to fool?

Then define amnesty.

It's rewarding invaders by letting them stay. And giving them a pathway to citizenship.

Kinda like making the burglar part of the family.

Free Republic has their own private and effective Mighty Ghost Busters...they go after the spirits of the past who attempt to infiltrate and divide the present. Oftentimes these spirits of the past reveal they are here and active, leaving an obvious trail generally picked up right away. Other times they might linger about for a time. If the Mighty Ghost Busters are in a playful mood we all get to watch and learn how to be Ghost Busters too!

However.. there is from time to time stubborn and persistant Spirits of the past who get more than fiesty. They just cannot seem to realize their time is in the past, refusing to go back where they came from. Free Republic is never to be taken lightly in such cases.. for beyond the vastness of cyber space abodes the domain of the ‘Viking Hoard and their King’.. who at the sound of their footsteps thunder roars and lightening strikes. They respond to Freepers simple call of.. “Here Kitty Kitty”.. and with one horrendous flash of their mighty Viking Swords the Ghosts are Zotted once more to their home in the past and all is well once more.

P.S. You really don’t want to know about the King of the Viking Hoard...except that he rides fearlessly at the Helm of his powerful and mighty Viking ship, heavely armed and ready to defend his domain without notice...none survive such an encounter.....he IS the Viking King.

How's that audit of Simcox's and Keyes's border fence coming along, EV?

You've got a LOT of nerve commenting on this subject, given Keyes's history.

Y’all are the only ones bringing Keyes into this, not me. All I care about is stopping the next pass they’re going to take at amnesty.

Not knowing exactly what you’re talking about, I typed a few words into a search engine and instantly found this:

You support a guy who did a MAJOR disservice to the border control and anti-amnesty movement with that border fence fiasco. You should stay out of this debate until you call him to account.

I see you insist on being deluded that the border fence was up and up. You’re as big a charlatan as your hero.

A strange post, but mildly interesting, coming from a newbie poster.

No, I think the whole civilian border fence thing was stupid, other than maybe as a tool to bring attention to the problem we have on the border. If that was what it was for they certainly failed in retrospect. And if it was nothing more than a fund-raising ruse that was wrong. I hate that sort of thing with a purple passion, as anyone who actually knows me is aware.

It was worse than a fund-raising ruse. It was a black hole bordering on fraud - what, 94 cents on the dollar did NOT go to the fence or Minuteman-related activities?

I would have NOTHING to do with a guy that was associated financially in any such venture. But you still promote Keyes.

No, it is you who is fixated on Alan Keyes, not me. Primarily because you don’t want any more attention focused on the subject we’re actually discussing.

Say WHAT? You can say that with a straight face when you post all kinds of Keyes writings?

Primarily because you don’t want any more attention focused on the subject we’re actually discussing.

No, I don't like charlatans and grifters in the conservative movement. Or their enablers.

The entire Republican universe of fund-raisers are charlatans and grifters. The RNC fundraisers are charlatans and grifters. The “conservative” organizations are almost all charlatans and grifters. It’s all a black hole that naive conservatives have poured billions down, to little or no effect.

If people are going to give money, they should give it directly to either fully-vetted candidates or to those who are on the front lines at the local level, not to any “national” organization.

Just responding with a bit of entertainment to your #566 post that you think FR has..”Thread Nannys”...which is hardly the case.

BTW.. thank you for mentioning my being a ‘Newbee’, it is indeed an honor to be a part of Free Rebublic.

And (Sarah Palin's) glowing praise for pro-abortion socialist Scott Brown should give any conservative pause.

Yeah, no kidding!! Just listen to Sarah Palin's glowing praise for Scott Brown!!

Oh, wait -- that wasn't Sarah Palin...

That was -- EternalVigilance's own candidate, Bill Johnson.
Singing that praises of that pro-abortion socialist, Scott Brown.

Mmm. Fascinating.

Congratulations are one thing.

“Scott Brown represents what this beautiful movement is all about." -- Sarah Palin

Glowing endorsements are another.

I wouldn't have done either, but what are you gonna do.

Well, mind you -- I can respect your support for Bill Johnson. To each his own. I'm needling you a bit on the Scott Brown thing, but Johnson seems like a fine candidate with whom I agree on a number of issues.

It just seems weird to me that you would attack Sarah Palin for talking up Scott Brown, when your own candidate Bill Johnson was.... well, also talking up Scott Brown.

Not saying that Bill Johnson is some awful evil terrible guy; but this criticism against Palin on your part does seem a little hypocritical (to me, anyway), given Johnson's own comments.
