Solution-2nd Amendment.
Yes, the magazines of America now runneth over.
Hardly, Bush put a small handful in. This guy wants to do all of his this way.
Saying 177 appointments with no repubs screaming at them not to, to Bush’s few with dems screaming he better not do any more, is hardly the same thing.
Yes, across 8 YEARS!!!!! Obama’s doing 177 in just ONE YEAR!!!
NOT THE SAME THING!!!!
Are we clear? Geez.
While I do not like the idea or recess appointments, I do understand that the power to do so is outlined in the Constitution.
Fine. It is also understood that from a Constitutional perspective of checks and balances and the senate approving certain appointments,
a President that deliberately waits for a recess to do ALL his appointments is clearly bypassing the spelled out, Constitutional checks and balances the Senate provides, and is molesting the Spirit of the Constitution itself.
Did you also see that Bush had formally nominated 165 of his 171 recess appointments across those 8 years? Not so with Barry. Bush’s appointment averages 21-22 every year he was in office. Barry is 155-156 recess appointments ahead of Bush in just 1 year.
If you cannot see the difference, and understand one put through candidates he already had before the Senate asking for approval (ie not afraid of them being grilled by the Senate and approved), versus how Barry is using the recess appointments,
we may as well stop discussing it because we’re wasting each others’ time here.
