Dr. John C. Drew, a grant writing consultant in Laguna Niguel, Calif., tells Newsmax he met Obama in 1980 when Obama was a sophomore at Occidental College in Los Angeles. Drew had just graduated from Occidental and was attending graduate school at Cornell University.
Drew’s then girlfriend, Caroline Boss—now Grauman-Boss—knew Obama because she shared classes with him at Occidental.
During Christmas break, Drew says he was at Grauman-Boss’ home in Palo Alto when Obama came over with Mohammed Hasan Chandoo, his roommate from Pakistan.
“He was arguing a straightforward Marxist-Leninist class-struggle point of view, which anticipated that there would be a revolution of the working class, led by revolutionaries, who would overthrow the capitalist system and institute a new socialist government that would redistribute the wealth,” says Drew, who says he himself was then a Marxist.
“The idea was basically that wealthy people were exploiting others,” Drew says. “That this was the secret of their wealth, that they weren’t paying others enough for their work, and they were using and taking advantage of other people. He was convinced that a revolution would take place, and it would be a good thing.”

Most Americans can’t even utter “socialist”, let alone the term that truly fits him: communist.
When Obama said he wanted to “Fundamentally Transform America”, I took him seriously because I knew he meant what he said. That’s why I did not vote for him.

He never outgrew his Marxist world view,
his continued obsession with class warfare
and wealth redistribution show that.
Sounds like a crude assertion of Marxian economics, based on the so-called labor theory of value.
As Dr. Sowell has observed, there is not a significant proposition of Marxian economics that has survived and been accepted into mainstream modern economic understanding, whether by liberal or conservative economists.
What we have is worse than a president who is ignorant of economics; we have a president who arrogantly thinks he has a penetrating insight into economics based on a fundamentally flawed theory.
True, what I mean to say is that this isn’t a surprise given his involvement with the SDS then.

I will never understand those who consider all change by definition to be an improvement.
In fact, of course, it’s a lot like Darwinian evolution. Mutations are a change. The vast majority of possible mutations are negative. Only a tiny subset of possible changes in an organism, or a society, have a positive net effect.

Obama was involved with the SDS in 1980?
Quite a feat, since the organization disbanded in 1969.

That’s not so. The SDS is still around, in chapter-by-chapter form since the mid 70’s. In 2006 a new national SDS was created.
We knew that. It’s obvious that the man in the White House is a full marxist and that he sees everything in terms of “have” and “have not” and is now using the full power of the government to seize money from the haves and give it to the have nots.
You got any evidence there was a chapter at Obama’s college or that he was part of it?
I am aware the organization was reactivated recently. That doesn’t mean it was in existence in 1980.

Hopefully, as the Emperor finds himself weakened, more people from his past will come forward and we can tease out some of this man’s well concealed past.
