Your telling me.

Not only did I do badly on points I missed the last 39 laps as I only recorded 6 hours of pre-race/race.

Good thing there’s another 35 races!

If you’ve got Speed, they’ll be re-running the race Wednesday starting at noon Eastern.

Thanks, I do. I hope they skip the first 1 hr 40 minute delay and the second 45 minute delay.

I thought the race was rather “tame” and I’m hoping the last 39 laps will change my over all opinion of the race. Maybe it’s because I only got 200 points that my leg is lifted on this one....

Blue Man group to perform at LVMS:

Blue Man Group to sponsor pre-race show at LVMS; World-renowned group also to perform in Neon Garage
Tuesday, November 21, 2006

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is bringing Blue Man Group from the Las Vegas Strip to the front straightaway.
The world famous group, which performs nightly at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in their custom-built Blue Man Theatre, will be the headline attraction during the Pre-Race Show prior to the March 11, 2007 UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 at LVMS.
“Blue Man Group is one of the true icons of the Las Vegas entertainment scene,” said Chris Powell, LVMS general manager. “Thousands of people see the show each night at The Venetian, and we are thrilled to be able to bring one of the most popular acts on the Las Vegas Strip to the speedway.”
Race fans can purchase pre-race activities passes and watch all of the pre-race ceremonies trackside. A limited number remain available.

Blue Man Group currently has productions also running in New York, Boston, Chicago, Berlin, Toronto and London. In December, Blue Man Group will open its latest international production in Amsterdam and in June 2007, they will open at Universal Orlando Resort. This will be the group’s first appearance at a speedway or a NASCAR event.

“Blue Man Group has applied its unique creative process to theatre, to music, to scoring television and film projects,” said Lee Ann Groff-Daudet, Director of External Affairs for Blue Man Group, Las Vegas. “Blue Man Group has explored the world of rock concerts with “The Complex Rock Tour” and the “How to be a Megastar Tour 2.0”, which is currently touring the U.S. The opportunity to perform in front of more than 150,000 people at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a new creative challenge for Blue Man and an opportunity to explore a wildly popular sporting event from an original perspective.”
In addition to its performance on the pre-race stage, Blue Man Group also has become the first act to commit to performing in the Neon Garage. LVMS expects to announce many more entertainment acts for the Neon Garage over the next several weeks.
“It would be an understatement to say that the March 9-11, 2007 NASCAR Weekend is being met with more anticipation than any other event at the speedway in quite some time,” Powell said. “With the new banking on the superspeedway, relocated pit road, Neon Garage and world-class entertainment such as Blue Man Group, race fans will find a completely new Las Vegas Motor Speedway when they return in March.”
Since this past March’s NASCAR Weekend, construction crews have raised the banking in the turns of the superspeedway from 12 to 20 degrees, moved pit road 275 feet closer to the grandstands and leveled most of the old infield buildings to make room for the Neon Garage.
The Neon Garage will be positioned in the center of the LVMS infield. It will be comprised of four buildings - constructed in the shape of a diamond - in which the NASCAR Nextel Cup teams will prepare their cars to race. Each building will be two stories, which will allow race fans to watch the teams work from ground level or from an elevated position.
The center of the Neon Garage will be open to race fans. There will be a sports bar with big screens to watch the on-track action, concession stands and continuous entertainment acts that represent Las Vegas’ best shows. As an added bonus, the speedway is moving its Winner’s Circle into the Neon Garage as well.
The UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 NASCAR Nextel Cup race will be the feature race on a weekend that includes the Sam’s Town 300 NASCAR Busch Series race on Saturday, March 10 and two nights of USAC and Dirt Late Model action on March 8-9 and the Dirt Track at LVMS.
Race tickets and passes for the Neon Garage and pre-race activities are available by calling the speedway ticket services department at (800) 644-4444 or by logging on to www.lvms.com.

“Thanks, I never knew that. Thought it was all concentrated into one City.
Bet there is some good southern foods/seafoods at those other events?”

The food everywhere is awesome. Especially cajun and sea food. The small town festivals have a lot of traditional Mardis Gras festivities, zydico music, traditional costuming, and of course the food. And much friendlier people.

Disregard the previous post re: Blue Man Group - it’s the 2007 race.

I’m going to go hide in the kennel.

I used the Kenseth strategery :-)

Seriously, since Yahoo uses a "unified" lineup for all the leagues one is in, and I had a team set up for Jeff Gluck's league (before he switched it over to ESPN), I was able to get in.

However, since I'm a "post-entry" entry, WSG's win holds up. Oh yeah - I also would have won the other FR-related league (am a post-entry there as well), but I didn't win Gluck's.
