A film that could potentially verify the historical accuracy of much of the Bible is getting a major expansion, causing its producers to be extra sensitive to modern political concerns and anxious fans to wait even longer for its release.
With a new working title of "The Exodus Conspiracy," the movie was initially targeted for release in the spring of 2007. But, despite about 10 years of work, the producers have not launched it yet because the scope of the project has increased dramatically. But the film's creators, while not wishing to reveal every detail, say the motion picture has grown tremendously, now beginning at the time of Abraham and ending with today's news headlines direct from the Middle East. It even includes appearances by Israeli President Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"We know how hot the real estate is. It's hot," said Pete Windahl, co-producer of "The Exodus Conspiracy." "We've got to be right."

“Behold his mighty hand!!!!”
Great!
It is there Mahoney and many others believe is the real location of Mount Sinai, even referenced in the New Testament as “mount Sinai in Arabia” by the apostle Paul in Galatians 4:25.
“It is a military-protected area with machine-gun guards,” said Mahoney.
Over the years, at least 13 different sites have actually been claimed on the Sinai peninsula as being the location where the Bible says God wrote the Ten Commandments with His own finger.
The real Mount Sinai is in Saudi Arabia! Get the best-selling DVD which shows you the location where God gave the Israelites His covenant!
Mahoney’s movie is said to be packed with physical, archaeological evidence corroborating the accounts of Holy Scripture.
WND has previously reported on claims the actual chariots of the ancient Egyptian army who drowned in the original Exodus are still visible at the bottom of the Gulf of Aqaba.
Also included in the film is a “shocking” clip of an Arab mob destroying Joseph’s Tomb, the burial site of the Old Testament hero.
While the title is currently “The Exodus Conspiracy,” the producers admitted that may not even be its final name.
When asked why they selected the word “conspiracy,” Mahoney indicated, “It’s a big story, and even through time, there have been nations that have been conspiring against Israel all the time.”
Windahl added: “It tends to be a conspiracy of evil perhaps not seemingly coordinated, but nonetheless, evil.”
The Muslims are going to love this. They have always insisted that Mt. Sinai is in Saudi Arabia and not the Sinai Peninsula. And here we have a film that agrees with them.
Go figure...
The entire Arab justification for 88 years of relentless war against the Jewish people in the Holy Land, and their efforts first to prevent the rebirth of the Jewish nation there, and then to destroy it, rests on the claim that the Jews are alien European “settlers” in the Holy Land, while the Arabs are the “indigenous” native population, who have lived there “since time immemorial.”
Archaeology that confirms the accuracy of the biblical narrative, and which documents the ancientness of the Jewish habitation of the land, is thus extremely inconvenient to Israel’s enemies, even though (or rather because) it concerns events in the remote past.
“This might be the biggest documentary in the world ever,” said Tim Mahoney, the film’s director who also appears on screen, asking questions of Dr. Lennart Moller, a Swedish DNA researcher at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and author of “The Exodus Case.”
This is Ron Wyatt stuff. Not credible. End of discussion.
will be fun to see how this turns out...

How could a film prove the bible to be correct?
Go figure...
Yes, but if there is a Mt. Sinai, that means that G-d gave the 10 Commandments to Moses, that there was an Ark of the Covenant to house the tablets (and a jar of manna and Moses' staff), and that there was a Temple to house the Ark of the Covenant and to be the place from which the High Priest would lead the services commanded by G-d on behalf of the Jewish People.
So maybe the camel jockeys won't actually like it so much - not if they think it through.
I read about this movie a while ago and went so far as to write the producer and ask it had been released and if I could get a copy of it. It sounds facsinating. Never did hear from them and am so happy to hear that it it in the works. The way things are happening in the world, I wonder if they will be able to complete it. Another piece keeps falling into place. God have mercy on us and on the whole world.
I think they mean the film is just validating what already has been written in the Holy Bible.....
Many people are now looking for answers in the world in the Holy Bible not the MSM..About time...
How does a film get an “expansion”? Are they adding another bedroom and bath, plus a deck? Or are they treating it with pressurized air? Or yeast? And how does an “expansion” cause producers to be “extra sensitive to modern political concerns”? This is not really written in English.
Somewhere in Ethiopia is a church or site where, it is claimed, is the ark of the covenant. Just an interesting tidbit.
By "expanding" the time frame covered. Instead of just the Exodus it was expanded to start with Abraham and run all the way to modern times.
I am sure it will be *BANNED*
1. Saudi Arabia
2. Egypt
3. France
4. Netherlands
5. Syria
6. Jordan
7. Iran
Maybe Iraq, the UK and Lebanon will show it...
Then the word is “lengthen.” Or, perhaps, the film doesn’t “get an expansion,” but its scope expands. Could that be what they were attempting, badly, to communicate?
So it’s not really going to prove anything?
Validate....
Especially to *Scoffers* who don’t believe the Holy Bible...

A great film I discovered this last year thanks to a Freepers recomendation is;
God Of Wonders
http://www.christiancinema.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=2685
You can’t watch God of Wonders and come away thinking it was still all a cosmic accident.
I think this film is dubious.
This filmmaker has yet to satisfy me that he has in fact discovered anything (ie, lots of talk, but that’s about it).
He claims to have made spectacular discoveries (including the Ark of the Covenant inside a cave) but when I read about this, he had no pictures. Why, if he had found the Ark, wouldn’t he at least produce a photo? Cameras aren’t so large these days that they can’t be lugged into a cave.
Ditto for his discovery of Mt. Sinai and the Exodus route. He may well be correct about the locations of these; but the author of a book about finding Sinai in Arabia lost me when he said he had thrown all his film away for fear of being searched by Saudi police.
So again, where are the pictures?
Or, another way to put it;
this sounds like another case of “all hat and no cattle”.
“I think this film is dubious”
Yea, when I saw the link was on World Nut Daily my hopes for a great film started sinking.
OK
How could a film prove the bible to be correct?
Well..., it would be the same way a film on National Geographic shows that something in the natural world has happened in the past (maybe 100,000 years ago or whenever), or in the way the History Channel shows what they've found about an ancient culture (that is no longer around and hardly anyone knows about them), or any other type of film that shows the information and evidence that has been found for one thing or another, in our human history in the past.
It works the same way... :-)
I've always thought it was quite funny and actually peculiar how people will say, "I found out that 'such-and-such' happened, on the History Channel last night!" -- but if you see something about the history of what happened in the Bible, there's always the reaction, like, "How do you know that happened?!"... LOL...
I have to laugh at people when they do that... :-)
They may show evidence that certain events depicted in the Bible are historically accurate, but no human will ever “prove” that Jesus was the Son of God.
This is Ron Wyatt stuff. Not credible. End of discussion.
Ron Wyatt may have had his detractors, but there are others who are not Ron Wyatt and who have not been associated with him, who also look into the same things, as where the Ark of the Covenant is, where Mt. Sinai is, or where Noah's Ark is and/or what was the route of the Exodus.
Those are all valid things to research, look into and find out as much as one can about them. There are people doing that.
And certainly, anything that one does to research the things that the Bible relates to us that happened in history is worthwhile to search out and find all the information and evidence that one can find. There's nothing wrong with that.
As I said in another post up above, I've always found it to be quite funny how people will comment and talk about one thing or another in a National Geographic show about something in the earth's history or on the History Channel about some ancient culture and showing evidence for something going on or happening -- but the same people will all of a sudden turn into sceptics, the minute it's related to the Bible and it's a piece of evidence for that. They'll be immediate sceptics, when they are not on all these other things they see. They just takes those other shows that present information to them about history and evidence that they are shown..., in perfect stride and never think twice about it... LOL...
How could a film show a man returning from the dead, or sins being forgiven?
How could a film show a man returning from the dead, or sins being forgiven?
I didn't know the film was about that. I read a little bit about the film, but I didn't quite understand that this was what they were trying to show, about the Bible. Is that what they say somewhere?
And, I do understand that the Bible itself does address those things (that you just mentioned), and we could talk about them, in connection with what the Bible says -- it's just that I didn't realize this was what the film was about, too... :-)
Sorry, but Islam has already gotten around that. You see the Koran recognizes Moses as a profit the same way it does Jesus. The difference is that they are portrayed as Muslims not Jews and the Jesus of the Koran beard little resemblance to the one we know.
The Muslims are going to love this. They have always insisted that Mt. Sinai is in Saudi Arabia and not the Sinai Peninsula. And here we have a film that agrees with them.
It might very well be in Saudi Arabia, but that wouldn't be a problem for what the Bible says about it. And the problem between what the Bible says -- as compared to -- what the Muslims say, according to the Koran is much, much more than the location of Mt. Sinai.
The location of Mt. Sinai would be a tiny speck of information, compared to the huge gulf of difference between the Bible and the Koran... :-)
That won't make too much difference to the Muslims, I don't think.
"Fascinating, gripping, revealing. This is a must-not-miss for anyone interested in the Middle East."
Jerry B. Jenkins, Best selling author of the Left Behind book series
"The film is extremely timely in view of events taking place in the world today. This is going to be a very powerful project."
Chuck Colson, Founder of BreakPoint and Prison Fellowship Ministries
"A great piece of work that deserves to be a substantial hit... the film is first rate - a riveting, important, substantive and handsomely crafted stunner."
Michael Medved, Film Critic and Radio Talk-Show Host
"THE EXODUS CONSPIRACY is an incredible investigation into the Biblical Exodus of Moses, which runs headlong into a conspiracy to hide the truth of the Bible. This is an exciting combination of science, religion, conspiracy and adventure. From British divers discovering chariot wheels in the Red Sea to the twelve pillars and discussions of the Ark of the Covenant, THE EXODUS CONSPIRACY is a rare look at what may have really been our beginnings."
Howard Kazanjian, Producer of popular films including Raiders of the Lost Ark
"I think the film effectively expresses an immensely persuasive and powerful message while being modestly restrained. This eloquent case for the Exodus is made compelling through scientific research and academic credibility. It captures one's interest from the opening credits and doesn't relinquish audience attention until the screen goes dark. I do believe taht this movie should be shown in all religious schools both Jewish and Christian. I do think this movie is genuinely important."
Rabbi Daniel Lapin, Foundere of American Alliance of Jews & Christians (AAJC), nationally acclaimed speaker and best-selling author
"The Exodus Conspiracy is a masterful weave of scientific inquiry with bibilical history. The film's approach of presenting the data without forcing on the viewer the need to accept or reject any preconceived conclusions is simply good science. To paraphrase the philosophy of Socrates, one goes to where the truth leads. Having seen the film and having met with the principals who actually conducted the research, I am convinced that the information presented, much of which is startling, is valid. And for me the truth leads to only one conclusion: the biblical account of the Exodus actually accurred. In the past, we have been looking in the wrong place for the evidence. Unfortunately much of the evidence lies within the borders of two countries in the Middle Est, who have a vested interest in denying the Exodus. As such they are active in concealing or destroying the evidence. A must see."
Gerald Schroeder, MIT Nuclear Physicist, author, and noted lecturer
As a scientist and student of Torah, I watched the Exodus Conspiracy film with fascination and great interest. This evocative film opens the door for some groundbreaking scientific and spiritual debate on the great questions. Did G-d perform the miracles as recorded in the Torah/Bible at the crossing of the sea? Does G-d have a covenant relationship with the Jewish people? These are the thoughts that have haunted me since my transformation from a secular scientist to a Torah Jew (viewing this incredible film served to reinforce these thoughts). There does indeed appear to be a pattern of evidence that supports the biblical text. I hope that there will be a worldwide call to further investigate these issues - if only the associated governments will allow the world's scientists to do so.
In my opinion, the producers have gone to great lengths in their eight years of research. They lay out a very compelling claim - almost like a court case - - without being declarative, as they allow the viewer to weigh the truth for themselves. Top scientists, historians, archaeologists, politicians and spiritual leaders are connected to the making of this film. Although the film provides answers to a number of puzzling aspects of the biblical text (such as the topography and geology at the west bank of the crossing) it also raises new questions for future study and analysis. It should appeal to the skeptical, "prove it to me" crowd as well as to the religious communities of Jews, Christians, and followers of other religions. In addition to being a thinking persons film, it is also great entertainment.

"This film is as significant as Shindler's List. In fact, it might be the most significant film in history. The Exodus Conspriacy shows the very real conflict between good and evil. It might even begin to end the 2,000 year old conflict between Christians and Jews. It will certainly leave you thinking. Through science, the film answer how it happened. All of us will now have to grapple with why it happened, and this makes the Bible relevant."

Netanyahu Israels New Prime Minister
The fluidity of the issues and characters involved in The Exodus Conspiracy can be seen in the fact that when we interviewed Benjamin Netanyahu for the film, he was a former prime minister of Israel. Since March 31st, 2009 when he was sworn into office, he is currently the new prime minister. The film now includes both the sitting prime minister and president of Israel (Shimon Peres.) The themes in The Exodus Conspiracy do not just deal with a 3500-year-old story but they confront issues that lie at the heart of turmoil in modern-day religion, culture, philosophy and international relations.
Benjamin Bibi Netanyahu is the first Israeli prime minister born after the founding of the modern state of Israel in 1948. He was born in Tel Aviv but moved to the U.S.A. when he was 15 and went to high school near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was previously the country's prime minister from June 1996 to July 1999 as well as the foreign minister (2002-2003) and finance minister (2003-2005.) Following Israel's parliamentary elections on February 10th, 2009, Netanyahus Likud party came in second place but right wing parties won a majority allowing Netanyahu to form a coalition government. What follows are portions of our interview with him from April of 2007.
TIM: When did you first hear about the story of the Exodus?
BN: With my mothers milk I think. I mean every Jewish child absorbs that story and its a formative one. The stories in the Bible are the most powerful narrative stories ever told. Its not a coincidence that this book has held the imagination of mankind for thousands of years, because the stories are remarkable. The story of Joseph and his brothers, the story of the Exodus from Egypt, the story of Moses and the tablets they are just remarkable stories. They fire a childs imagination. They certainly did fire my imagination from a very, very early age.TIM: In the Bible story, Joseph was hated by his brothers so much that they tried to kill him and they were going to throw him into a pit and eventually he got sold into slavery. But little did they realize that if they killed Joseph they would have been cutting their own throats.
BN: Well, it took them a while to discover that. The story of Josephs revelation to his brothers has got to be one of the most dramatic stories ever told. I read and re-read it periodically and its so powerful and so vivid and so detailed that you know that it happened.TIM: Tell me about the affect the Exodus has had upon civilizations in the last 3,000 years.
BN: Moses was the greatest revolutionary of all time. Remember that in antiquity, there were grand empires that were based on one principle and that is slavery. And Moses challenged that twice. He challenged it by taking his people who were slaves in bondage in Egypt and freed them and took them to their Promised Land. But he also challenged it by providing a moral code for mankind that said that it is not the king or the emperor that decides the law, there is a higher law. And that higher law means respect for your fellow man and it also means that you have to be free. One of the reasons that Judaism didnt make its way so rapidly and didnt spread in the ancient world is that its premise, its conception, is that you have to be a free man and not a slave, to espouse Judaism. Now these were absolutely revolutionary ideas. And its the combination of the physical freedom; physically freeing the slaves from Egypt, but also ennobling them to a higher code of personal dignity, respect for your fellow man and personal freedom that was so at odds with the ancient world. And this shone a light and that light progressively expanded and reached larger and larger sections of humanity until it became the dominant code by which we live, or we at least aspire to live.
Tim Mahoney, Director of The Exodus Conspiracy
Thanks ST for posting this!
I cannot wait to see this film!
They may show evidence that certain events depicted in the Bible are historically accurate, but no human will ever prove that Jesus was the Son of God.
Well..., when you consider that people are put to death for murder on the basis of "proving a case" in a court of law, sometimes without any eyewitnesses and without a confession from the killer, you can understand some pretty serious things can be "proven" without you, or anyone else, needing to see something directly in front of your face, before it's proven... :-)
It's done in a court of law by different kinds of testimony given by witnesses as to different facts and aspects of the case and what happened at one place and what was said at another place and how someone acted and so on (even if no one saw the murder). And there is an assembling of the "evidence" that makes up the necessary facts for the jurors to see and understand.
And we know that people are convicted (i.e., "it is proven" in a court of law) that the person did kill the person they are charged with killing.
Now, if people can regularly be put to death on the basis of this kind of evidence and witness testimony -- I think it also can be "proven" in the same manner -- that Jesus is the Son of God.
And once again, if we accept it as "proven" -- enough to actually kill someone (as a murderer) -- then we can certainly prove in the like manner that Jesus is the Son of God.
Me too... it sounds very interesting ...
I think the jury is out on some of Wyatt’s stuff.
Some of his stuff had solid evidence behind it.
Are you trying to claim there’s any evidence at all
that they can think things through further than from one beheading to the next?
What a shocking contention. Please let me know if any solid evidence of that crops up.
Sorry . . . . sounds much too prissy for me . . .
Are you an elderly English teacher with a bun in your hear?
INDEED.
The entire Arab justification for 88 years of relentless war against the Jewish people in the Holy Land, and their efforts first to prevent the rebirth of the Jewish nation there, and then to destroy it, rests on the claim that the Jews are alien European settlers in the Holy Land, while the Arabs are the indigenous native population, who have lived there since time immemorial.
You know... the land of Israel has never been without Jews actually living on the land. In fact, they've always been a major segment of the population of that area -- since the beginning. Although they had their nation destroyed back in the early centuries and were not controlling their own destinies, and living under other countries' control -- they were still living there, all that time, from then until now.
And so, there has never been a time that the land of Israel had no Jews living there. They've always had a major portion of the population living as Jews there.
It may have been desolate for many years, it may have been a "backwater area" for many years and it may have been neglected by many others for many years -- but -- the Jews have always been there.
So, I'm sorry to have to tell those Arabs that they've been fed a line of "hype" by those who are trying to deceive them into believing that the Jews came there at a later time. LOL... The Jews never totally left the land of Israel and have been there all along... :-)
And now more of them are coming back.
THANKS.
Not elderly. And I don’t know about my “hear” having anything in it. But I am literate, and I am a native speaker of English. Made a living writing for several years. People who aspire to write for publication ought to at least know what the words mean. And words do have specific meanings. Sorry, I have a low tolerance for ignorance and incompetence.
INDEED.
Always—from the return from Egypt on, anyway.
Alwaysfrom the return from Egypt on, anyway.
Yeah, that's very true. But, a lot of people would be surprised to find out that from the time of Jesus being here, until the present time -- that the land of Israel has never been void of Jews living there and they've also been a major portion of the population too.
I think a lot of people think that the Jews totally left the land of Israel and only recently came back again. The fact of the matter is that they never totally left -- there was always a "remnant" remaining in Israel.

Hi!
I wanted to share a story and a website with information on archeological evidence supporting a different location for the route of the Exodus. First, here is my story:
I lived in Saudi Arabia for about a year. My husband accepted a work contract working directly for a Saudi Sheik and he was there for 3 years. I joined him during the last year of his contract. I loved it because it was quite an adventure, and I didn't have to work, or drive. The Saudi's don't allow women to do either one. Work is in the home, and you are provided with a driver, which is a GOOD thing because the traffic there is like a ride at Disneyland! Very scary.
When I arrived, I prayed for the Lord to get us connected with other Christians. Any religion other than Christianity is forbidden there, so for a Christian, you have to go "underground"...The Lord answered my prayers soon after arriving. A nice British lady in the compound where we lived in Al Khobar visited to welcome me, and invited me to one of several underground churches. For a Westerner to be caught worshiping this way meant expulsion. For one of the many 3rd world workers there, it meant jail (very nasty), or worse - beheading. My husband was able to smuggle Bibles in for his workers though with God's help.
So many things happened there, but one of the best was that we were also blessed with meeting a wonderful couple from Louisana (Jim and Penny Caldwell), who were self taught "archeological" explorers, and they made some pretty amazing discoveries there. My husband had a "chance" meeting with Jim as he visited the vehicle repair facility my husband managed. It turned out they were both "gear heads" and they hit it off from the start. We became best friends and spent every weekend with them at their Saudi Aramco compound, playing and recording bluegrass gospel music and eating Fried Cajun Turkey as much as possible.
Jim and Penny shared some videos with us one weekend showing us the film they had been accumulating over several years proving the real Mt Sinai was actually in NW Saudi Arabia, and not where traditionally thought of. Every thing they shared blew our minds. They filmed all they could, and were even threatened at gunpoint and arrested on one of their trips into the desert. They were originally looking for the Ark of the Covenant, but soon discovered something completely different. They were able to leak some of their film out to others on their vacation trips home over the years, and much of what has been seen on TV and so forth is actually Jim and Penny's footage. We always wanted to go with them on one of their treks into the desert, but they wouldn't let us, as it was too dangerous.
When they came home for good they got involved in a documentary another man had already been working on for years about the SAME subject. They ended up being featured in this film. The producer is seeking funding for a world wide release now. I told them I would try and help, but so far Ive failed miserably If you want to take a look at the website for the film it is here:
http://www.exodusconspiracy.com/
On main page click "Video Library" and then use "slider" to find the clip Danger my friends Jim and Penny Caldwell are featured there.
They came home for good, just in time for Hurricane Katrina, but came through it miraculously! Praise the Lord! They set up their own foundation and travel to churches and anywhere else they are invited to present their story. Here is their own personal website:
http://splitrockrese...ontent/Welcome/
I just wanted to share this with you all, especially with the time of the season being what it is. I hope you enjoy the websites.
[ the following quote is about 15 paragraphs into the article... ]
Positive Jewish themes do make cameo appearances in the media, however. Last year's Hebrew-language, unashamedly Orthodox film Ushpizin (which made Medved's list of the 10 best movies of 2006) did surprisingly well. And this year, Medved is eager for the release of a documentary called The Exodus Conspiracy, featuring Bibi Netanyahu, Natan Sharanksy, and Jackie Mason. The filmmaker, Tim Mahoney, has assembled a great deal of extraordinarily haunting information that confirms the Exodus story," Medved says. "They believe they have pinpointed the real Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia. They've even recovered chariot wheels. It's all authoritative and fascinating."
With several family members living in Jerusalem, Medved's connection to Israel is not just religious, but deeply personal. For the past four years, he has led listener tours of between 150-200 people to Israel with his wife, Dr. Diane Medved, a clinical psychologist. The tours are geared toward giving an overview of Zionist history while also teaching some essential tenets of Torah practice. (The Summer 2008 tour leaves July 19. Check www.michaelmedved.com for more details as they become available.) The Medveds are also popular speakers at Passover retreats across the country.
