WHISTLER, British Columbia (AP)Snow conditions forced the first delay at the Vancouver Olympics, postponing the womens super-combined Alpine race.
The women had been scheduled to race Sunday, and a new date has not been set yet. A heavy overnight rain made the course soft and unsafe.
The snow is too heavy, womens race director Atle Skaardal said Friday.
The status of the mens downhill race, which is scheduled for Saturday, also is in jeopardy.

BTW Squaw Valley down this way, has a 110" base today.
Greg Johnson and Ron Rupert are there from The Beaver Creek Race Dept. Greg is the FIS Tech. Deligate and Ron is head of course prep. They are the best in the business. NO racing will happem if conditions are not safe!
