She pops off with "You haven't been here ten years!"

There followed about thirty seconds of awkward silence.

I know what it is, having worked in universities and community colleges, but I never understood it as an entitlement.

Are you kidding? If tenure is not a government employee benefit, or an entitlement, how come those working hard in the private sector don't get "Tenure"?

No, she *premeditatively* took a gun to wipe out some people who were nothing more than pond scum/idiots in her eyes, and expected no eternal consequences to that.

You would have to get that confirmed that it was premeditated. I don't know that it was. It may have been, but you couldn't say so, just because she had a gun. See Post #18
