Yet another health benefit has been linked to eating chocolate: It may decrease your risk of stroke, a new study suggests.
The analysis, which will be presented in April at the American Academy of Neurology's 62nd Annual Meeting, reviewed the results of three previous studies. One study with more than 44,000 participants found that those who ate a weekly serving of chocolate were 22 percent less likely to suffer a stroke than those who ate no chocolate.

Actually there is a form of chocolate that can be termed healthy. It is a dark chocolate that is unprocessed powder or cold processed instead of the normal heat processing which destroys 50-75% of the antioxidants. Also, it doesn’t have refined sugar, waxes, preservatives or any other of the bad things.
The good thing is, there are a large number of studies in the main stream medical journals which support this.
Here are a couple of sites for those who are interested.
wwww.goodnewsaboutchocolate.com
www.mydrchocolate.com
It’s getting better and better.
These studies are showing us how the flavonoids actually are producing the great results and how they fight inflammation and oxidation in the body.

Once a year I will buy some Baker’s chocolate and eat it over a few weeks. Baker’s is 8oz and is pure chocolate. Just chip some off and eat it with a sweetener such as honey or maple syrup. Sweeteners activate chocolate to make it delicious
The next that is added to chocolate is a milk product. I usually skip this but you can take plain yogurt+honey+Bakers and make something delicious right on the spot
