Four quakes last few hours between 5.1 and 4.1. Also to note yesterday the Southern Alantic ridge tremored with a 5.4 as did offshore cuba.

Great Job!
Yes, many suspect the North Atlantic plate of causing Methane Hydrate release, in masse.
Which I might add is more plausible than CO2 as a contributing factor toward any warm periods in history, including volcanoes!

someone one also theorized that the massive release causes ships to lose buoyancy and sink like a rock..

Isn’t there an island in the atlantic over near europe that has a potential for a giant slide that would cause a tsunami that would swamp NYC.

Yes, the Canary islands. The name of the mountain is Cumbre Vieja volcano on La Palma.

Geologists and volcanologists also disagree about whether an eruption on the Cumbre Vieja would cause a single large gravitational landslide or a series of smaller landslides.

You are right. We really started quite early(within the last 200 years) the study of geology and the mechanics how this planet works.

No, to small with their intensity, but it has been awhile since this frequency of activity.
