An East Palo Alto police detective is taking heat in online forums for allegedly posting comments from his Facebook account that advocate shooting Open Carry gun advocates. ......... After several more comments in the thread, Tuason apparently joked that officers should shoot the advocates, who have made recent headlines throughout the Bay Area for sipping coffee at cafes and performing other everyday acts with visible weapons.
"Sounds like you had someone practicing their 2nd amendment rights last night!" Tuason wrote. "Should've pulled the AR out and prone them all out! And if one of them makes a furtive movement ... 2 weeks off!!!"

He took down his FB page—what a surprise.
I’m sure Detective Rod Tuason loves having his name known nationwide.
Palo Alto cops make Tijuana cops look honest.
the cop gets in trouble for expressing what most of them think. they no longer work for the citizens. it’s an us against them attitude and the notion that they exist to control us.
The little fascist wannabe should concern himself with the illegally armed minorities in
his Palo Alto neighborhood. Most anyone carrying open is on the side of the law
and not selling dope, raping women and generally destroying their “turf” like so many of 0bama’s little pets.
why is he so insecure that he can’t handle people exercising their Consitutional rights?
Rod is working hard to change that.
I’m sure he leaves his weapons at the station before going home every night...NOT
All publicity is good publicity when you are a part time actor/writer.

(I love CGF)
"Sounds like you had someone practicing their 2nd amendment rights last night!" Tuason wrote.
Sounds to me like Tuason is being sarcastic, which is why I'd like to read the whole thing.
"Should've pulled the AR out and prone them all out!"
Somebody, TRANSLATION, PLEASE? What the hell does that sentence mean? Sounds like gibberish.
"And if one of them makes a furtive movement ... 2 weeks off!!!"
Again, TRANSLATION? Does the reporter know what the hell this cop is really saying? Because I don't have a clue, at least from what's in the excerpt. Maybe the cop was being sarcastic, but is so inept at writing that an equally inept reporter has turned it inside out.
Not saying that's what happened ... just saying that it looks to me like the cop is being sarcastic in the first sentence, and unintelligible in the next two.
“”Should’ve pulled the AR out and prone them all out!” “
Means “should’ve pulled out my patrol rifle and had them all on the ground.
“And if one of them makes a furtive movement ... 2 weeks off”
If one of them moves, I’ll kill him and then get two weeks off with pay.
Pretty clear.
Surely you jest; I’m not even a cop or know “cop talk”; fairly simple without even using a search engine.
AR = AR15
prone them out = lying prone facedown, hands outstretched
2 weeks off = mandatory leave after a fatal shooting..
Next time buy a clue first, then whine.
Get the assault rifle from the police cruiser, aim it at the peaceful law-abiding citizens in question, and order them to lie down on the floor, like suspects at a crime scene(prone).
"And if one of them makes a furtive movement ... 2 weeks off!!!"
If anyone moves without permission, shoot them. ("Two weeks off" refers to going on paid administrative leave while the shooting is investigated.)
Get it now? Real funny, huh?
Point your automatic rifle at people and tell them to “get on the ground!”
“And if one of them makes a furtive movement ... 2 weeks off!!!”
If anyone makes any motion that implies any sort of threat, shoot them and be placed on paid administrative leave while the shooting is “investigated”.
EAST Palo Alto, please!
Everyone knows it costs way too much to try to bribe a Palo Alto cop. Just don’t be caught driving an SUV or pickup at 37 MPH on El Camino.
“You have stated it is the
City’s goal to dramatically reduce crime, fear, and disorder through continuous professional
development training and problem solving, working closely with the community, and that you
also hold your organization accountable for providing exemplary services to the citizens of East
Palo Alto.”
The chief was referring to how they would interact with gangbangers, thugs and minorities. Doesn’t apply to white tax payers.
Yep. Clear as mud.
Nonetheless, THANK YOU for the translation! :^)
That said, thanks for the translation. The cop sounds like somebody who needs to get in a line of work far away from law enforcement.
Yep -- funny as a rotten lemon. Thanks for the translation -- this cop sounds like the aforesaid rotten lemon!
Yup! Palo Alto rich. East Palo Alto is a dump. One time driving back in the middle of the night from the east bay across the Dumbarton Bridge, had to stop for gas in East Palo Alto. My gas tank was running on fumes, dry and empty. Scary as hell, with all the punks of a certain variety wandering around and eyeing me the way wild animals hunt. After that, I made it a rule to never drive that bridge at night again. You'd have to be crazy to be a cop there; maybe they are. This cop needs to be gone.
Cops have been working very hard to make their relationship with the people they supposedly “Protect and Serve” into one of “Us and Them” for many years now.

Yep, I got sloppy, East PA is a city 100 feet away from PA where the jackboots are much more eddycated, swavaay, and eagleitarian, being of the Cardinal persuasion.
If you sip from a Styrofoam cup at 37 in an SUV, that's three strikes over there, beware!
