After seeing a spot about the Lyin’ King approving two new NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS, the story about his plummeting popularity came on, and a poll saying how only 38% of Americans think any incumbents should be reelected.
I almost had a Cataclysmic Attack of Schadenfreude. Right there in the Restaurant. :-)
Remember 1972. Muskie might have made it a close race, but Nixon cruised to an easy victory over McGovern. The Obama camp may make the Nixon re-election team look like a Sunday school picnic before it’s over...if they can help a “moderate” win the Republican nomination, or get a third-party candidate to divide the opposition vote, they can get back in with much less than 50% of the public approving of them.

So he graduated from Harvard with a Juris Doctor degree. Well, so did Michelle. Big frigin’ deal. Sad to say but millions voted for him for no other reason than it would be “neat.” Lincoln said you can fool some of the people all of the time. I have always believed this Bradley/Wilder/Politically Correct factor has bumped up his so-called approval ratings by at least 10%. Poll respondents don’t want to be thought of as racist if they disapprove of a black president.
How else to account poll disparities that have this guy at around 52-55% approval scores but only 44% would vote to re-elect him ?
Not to mention the percent that voted for him and are in a state of shock and denial and can’t yet admit that they totally screwed up this nation by voting for him.
