That isn’t really the case. It’s fringe groups trying to use the “Tea Party” label to advance their cause. Ron Paul type followers. I think the concern is overblown right now. When I see more mainstream groups interested in their own representative then I’ll take it seriously. For now it just seems to be a tool for Republican loyalists to whine about the dangers of third parties and convince us we should never ever consider it.
I’m not against third parties in principle and won’t be scared out of the position. But as far as Nevada goes I see no reason not to support within the system. Perosnally rooting for Tarkanian.

Numerically, the numbers are against the Republicans in the Senate. The chances of them capturing 10 seats is plausible but unlikely. So even if the Democrats loses 8 seats, Obama still can claim victory by holding onto a very slim majority in the Senate. In the craziness of the spin that comes from the White House and the MSM, he’ll say this victory is a mandate from the people on his agenda. The Democrats real problem is in the House where everyone is up for reelection.
i persoanlly think it will take 2 elections 2010 and 2012 to take over both but have some hope it will be 2010.
