“Your Majesty: the peasants are revolting!”
There's a lot of truth to that statement. 70 million voted for the Usurper, that's your proof right there.
Maher takes a short break from his “teabagging” activities...
I rest my case.
Gee, Bill Maher being condescending. Who would ever imagined that happening? </sarcasm>
As an English major, Maher probably doesn’t understand monetary policy or much of anything else..
Isn't it funny too, how Superior he considers himself???
What a worthless piece, oh never mind . . . WHO cares about Maher???
Exhibit A: A majority of the American people voted for Obama.
Exhibit B: Most of them regret it.
I’d say the American people wised up.
I don't think the majority of Americans are stupid; I think a majority of them are ignorant of some important principles and facts.
As I've said before: Once the Left took over education, the rest was just a matter of time.
NORMAL Americans, of all political parties, are sick & tired of what passes for "intelligentsia" in the USA, but actually is a bunch of narcissistic nickempoops who fail to realize that NOBODY else shares their high opinions of themselves, and that everybody is sick of this group of st00000pid riftraft referring to ordinary Americans as IGNORANT peasants.
No worry! No one saw the program.
It's part and parcel of the liberal mindset to believe that they are smarter than "the masses" that it is their destiny (and duty) to lead to Utopia. Only about 25% of the population is afflicted with the disease. To the rest of us, they sound smug and arrogant to the point of being disgusting. Which is why Bill Maher is disgusting. |
I heard this tripe from Cokie Roberts in a speech she gave to bankers in the early 1990’s . . . MSM’s excuse to explain the news or report carefully selected facts instead of reporting unvarnished facts.
The folks ARE smart enough to figure out that leftists are about to bankrupt this country . . . Maher is NOT SMART ENOUGH to figure that out.
We Americans have a tough problem — listening to thousands of politicians and “experts” and then trying to put all the pieces together.
We Americans mainly have lives of our own to live. The job of the politicians and experts is to do analysis and present conclusions to us that we can understand, and to be honest with us.
Folks, we’re doing ok.
Michael Moore (quote), from his website, April 14, 2004...
"The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not 'insurgents' or 'terrorists' or 'The Enemy.' They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win. Get it, Mr. Bush?"
[actual quote from Michael Moore (2004). It still appears on his website]

“Don’t push your luck little man”-The Soup Nazi.
Bill, its not that they are not bright enough, it’s that many have misplaced priorities.
All you have to do is watch an hours worth of MTV, VH1, or some other dreck to see where we are at morally as a country.
He’s a NYC boy liberal need any more be said. NYC Liberals are so numerous they migrate and become wharf rats in Baltimore. It’s a step up.
Maher’s ‘Not Bright Enough to Really Understand the Issues’ statement is code speak for Americans are:
1) Uncultured in Progressive Ideals
2) too individualist and not collective enough
3) Middle Class Morons who watch NASCAR rather than his show
4) Redneck Racists
5) Unenlightened that the US Constitution is a living, breathing document
6) Capitalist Exploiters
7) Christian Conservatives
8) War Mongers
true, the issues are quite complicated but, one thing we do understand is math. And, the federal government keeps doing things, buying things, and promising things that it can not afford. I do not trust the feds with health care because they’ve proven to me they can’t balance a check book. Would you loan a drunk driver your car. When the feds prove they can handle fiscal discipline, I’ll consider listening to them again. Until then, smaller government is the way to go. The feds have no freakin clue about reality.
