Democrats just can't stay away from ACORN. Even as scandal piles on top of scandal, they continue to embrace the organization. The latest is that the Senate just confirmed Patrick Corvington as chief executive of the Corporation for National and Community Service. Corvington and ACORN have quite the history as Matthew Vadum notes:

Ok that makes sense put I remember Teddy endorsing Obama and Caroline campaigning for him. They just about declared Obama a catholic brother at Teddy’s funeral.
The FY 2011 budget for this includes a staff increase of 85,000 to 105,000, and a monetary increase from 2010 of 1,054M to 1,298M.
But Border Patrol and the Coast Guard get cut.
