ping — worth a look.
That is an incredibly weak rebuttal. I was going to CU Boulder in 1974-75 and there was a CIA recruiting office right there on campus. Somehow I don't think that would have been the ideal location to find world-wise people.
A weak rebuttal to this? ...
"way way way back in the day of Bill Ayers coming to prominence via the Weather Underground, there were plenty of college kids who considered him to be an obvious government plant"
So you also think Bill Ayers may have been a U.S. government plant? That he wasn't really a revolutionary communist, domestic terrorist?
You make an excellent point.
I don’t “also think” anything. The first step in the critical thinking process is to check your premises. So far your premises about what I have said are in error.
Thank you. Blind trust is a sure way to be led down the garden path.
It’s really quite difficult to keep in mind that most people who work for the government are liberals, because it runs counter to the old archetype of the staid conservative bureaucrat, which for some of us, remains firmly engrained, and it’s simply not accurate.
Paul is dead.
They have been working there way in since Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson and the Clintons were stuffing them into the bureaucracy with both hands. 0bieWon has been busy filling slots too.
What exactly are you saying then? Do you think it’s a feasible possibility that Obama and/or Bill Ayers were recruited by the CIA? That they were/are not really pro-Communist radicals?
Likely? No. Possible? Of course. More so in 0bama’s case. You have suggested he might have worked for the KGB. Now what might the KGB do with a fresh young American recruit with a clean background? How about having him sign up with the CIA?
I suppose it’s “possible” that they are outer space aliens, too.
I suppose its possible that they are KGB agents too.
Who is Paul?
I'd say it's more than "possible", 'critical thinker', that Bill Ayers and his comrades were linked to the KGB.
From David Horowitz's FrontPageMag.com/DiscoverTheNetworks.org:
"FBI files from 1976, recently made public under the Freedom of Information Act, confirm the connections between Weatherman, Havana, and Moscow. Weatherman leaders like Mark Rudd traveled illegally to Havana in 1968 to engage in terrorist training. There, camps set up by Soviet KGB Colonel Vadim Kotchergine were educating Westerners both in Marxist philosophy and urban warfare."

So Obama was a CIA operative in the service of the REAGAN Administration!?!?!?!?!?
Doing the job Beck and BOR refuse to do.
I fear Dr. Manning will be portrayed as an impromptu leader of the TEA party movement, all contrary to what he is.
It would be a tactical game plan by a deranged left democratic nation to start painting him as a face to smear, to mock and to hold a kangaroo court upon.
Walk proudly Dr. Manning, and may you speak well your beliefs.
I see you have conveniently dropped the allusions to 0bama being a KGB agent. lol
"As a gesture of solidarity, the Vietnamese who [Bernardine] Dohrn met in Budapest presented her with a ring made from an American aircraft shot down over North Vietnam. Bill Ayers would receive a similar ring while meeting with Vietnamese communists in Toronto. He later recalled being so moved by the gesture that he 'left the room to cry.' "

Lieutenant Quarles Harris wasn't a state department employee. He was a street punk who was involved in an identify theft ring with a contact inside the passport office. He had 20 credit cards and eight completed passport applications on him when he was stopped by police.
