A local fast food chain in my area is owned by a state senator. I’m convinced that he has inside info on halfway house people who need jobs after prison. All the employees look straight out of prison. They could have had a shower 5 minutes before but they just look dirty. I hate exposed tattoos all over the body.
At a local Wendy’s I walked up to a counter and came face to face with a kid with an eyelid-piercing and nose ring and disgusting tattoos. I walked away with no explanation. Got the store number and called to express my displeasure. The woman apologized but said they could not discriminate. Told her I just wanted to lodge the complaint.
I worked at BK in high school, circa 1994. Fast food was a great job for teens but now they employ the unemployable.
Still, even then I saw things that would make you never want to eat fast food again.
I’ll stick with Subway where I can watch them make my food.
One local news report mentioned that the employee was mad at the store management.
They speculated that it was his way of trying to get the store & management team in trouble.
Didn’t quite work out that way.
hydrocodone also doesn’t get you high as far as I know. I take it for pain and it works ok for that.
Never got even a hint of a buzz. :(
Hire a teenager while they still know everything.
I call the Chinese food place:
“I’d like a chicken egg foo yung to go.”
“OK! That be pickup or derivery?”
