I’m going to blame someone else for taking over my keyboard, but I think I have a handle on it now.
EXACTLY! He, by definition, is a HYPOCRITE!
What is it about Byrd, Kennedy, LOUTenberg, that they insist on spending the last days of their lives in DC? Kennedy is proof(Sen. Scott Brown) that in DC you are soon forgotten.
But my post had two points. First, that the dirty politics of Democrats (especially in states like NJ) & their lapdog media should automatically raise the less likely sinister explanations to the top of list.
Second, that if the Governor of the state was a Democrat and the stricken 87 year old politician was not, the same media would be circling the hospital and its staff like buzzard questioning his medical & mental state and stoking the fire for resignation & a Democrat Governor's replacement.
If his condition were worse than reported, would you really expect that media to even want to know, let alone report it - even if he were on a feeding tube?
I am thinking that Scott Brown is more conservative than most people give him credit for. We shall see . .
As Shakespeare once said, “The proof is in the pudding.”
Can he vote while he incapacitated? Well, I guess if the dead can vote, so can Frank.
AMEN~~~~~~~!!!!!!!
How could you tell the difference?
You’re probably thinking of pancreatic cancer, the one that got Patrick Swayze.
Christie has gone over the heads of the legislature and issued an executive order on budget cutting.
The dems are too afraid to complain since they know they will be voted OUT. The people in NJ are no longer amused by the union demands.
First thing Christie did was point to a Utility Board employee who was earning over $300,000 per year. That guy has just resigned.
Christie stated the other day that anyone who knows about his 7 years as a Federal Prosecutor knows he is no wallflower.
He is not putting up with anything from the dems.
I hope that, should Lautenberg behave decently for the first time in his life, and retire now, that Christie will also hold the line and not let the dems cheat as they did in MA.
Looks like good things are continuing to happen in the Garden State, and that's great for America.
Lautenberg will not resign. His seat represents another dem on the committees.
He is no patriot.
That may be the understatement of the year.

According to OLR Research Report dated 1/21/09, the Governor can appoint a replacement, and then -
“Law authorizes governor to call for a special election, in which case there is no schedule specified. Otherwise, vacancy is filled at first or second succeeding general election, depending on when it occurs.”
Sounds like the law grants very liberal powers to the Governor in cases like this. Passed in the era of inevitable Democrat Governors, no doubt.
Delicious.
Gastric carcinoma (adenocarcinoma) has a 12 - 15% 5 year survival rate. There are other types such as linnitis plastica, lymphosarcomas, leiomyocarcomas. Adeno is the most common type. We have no information regarding staging of this cancer (spread). Chemotherapy, radiotherapy are essentially useless. Surgery is the only hope to effect a cure or even reduce tumor load. Rare types, such as carcinoids, carry a better long term prognosis.
He can plan whatever he likes. But I believe God has other plans for him. Stomach Cancer is nasty stuff. A good friend of mine was diagnosed with throat cancer and had all sorts of plans for the future. His future was 5 months.
But in all seriousness, I wish him well!
I believe they have to be present in the Senate Chamber in order to record a vote! I may be wrong.
Gastric lymphomas comprise only 2% of the gastric cancers. It is more treatable with a 40% 5 year survival rate.
Stomach cancer often presents as an ulcer.
I’ll pray he leaves post-haste!
