Frankly, I'm not all that alarmed by this. If GM wants a good CEO, they are going to have to pay the going market rate. I'm not sure that anyone can save GM.

It is a hypocritical for the Obama Administration to have a fit about banks who pay their top people the going market rate.

Not hypocritical......they’re his buddies......just like GM. Even after the bail out of GM and the cash for clunkers, 80% of new cars sold were not US manufacturers because nobody wanted what GM had. So, the leaders of GM (Government Motors) get a big bonus, via the government.
