It's going on all the time
I have a friend who is in the airline business who told me of a questionable incident on a recent flight of his. For his security, the details have to remain non-disclosed.
But it is going on all the time.
message is below
There isnt much to it but take it. My experience simply begs a question thats being ignored as to how many times daily this type of incident is occurring.

Subject: Personal experience on another flight today.
FYI:
I was on United Flight #0966 today. The flight departed on schedule from Los Angeles (LAX) at 7:50AM for a 3:35PM arrival at Dulles International. I wasnt in the best of moods after being subjected to extra screening care by an ambitious TSA agent that just wanted to reach out and touch me (full-body pat down). My wife received the same treatment.
We landed ahead of schedule but were informed, by the cockpit, to stay seated due to several individuals coming aboard. Shortly thereafter, two uniformed law enforcement agents came down the right-hand aisle of our wide-bodied jet to secure possession of a young bearded man who appeared to be of Middle-Eastern descent big Fing surprise, right. He was quickly removed, with his carry-on bag, from the plane.
The flight attendant that I questioned would only acknowledge that there was a security issue with this passenger. A few moments later, I noticed that a half dozen plainclothes officers gathered at the gate to review what appeared to be passenger lists, etc. They were soon joined by a ground crew member.
Best,
J
not a joke
They must be upping it, it’s been awhile since they took down a US plane. Maybe they’re promising the next one 100 virgins.
Well, obviously pre check-in screening didn’t bother to check the list of names on the watch list.
Absolutely.
I wish I could reveal what the other friend said, but it isn’t good.
Lets just say, it’s going to get worse before it gets better.
And all the usual suspects have the same ethnic appearance.
Wonder if he got a 'full-body' pat down, as did you.
Another airplane incident.
None of these incidents get published, and if it’s a flagrant violation, it becomes an “not terrorist related, disgruntled person acting on his own, ethnicity not mentioned” kind of thing. They are not as concerned with the public as with the airline industry staying profitable...lobbyists at work?

We drive everywhere since Pan Am 800 (1996) and 9/11 (2001). That’s why our cars have so many miles on them. Our dog generally goes with us, and he’s been coast to coast several times over the last 8 years (that’s how long we’ve had him.)
...but it WAS at the end of the trip!
Pan Am 800 remains very troubling.
*shrug* If he had blown it up in mid flight, that would have been the end of the trip as well.
What's the difference? </TSA>
sad but true, point!
I carry a package of bacon bits.
One TSA guy looked at them and blandly asked “Making a salad?”
I said “Naahhhh, it’s for terrorists.”
His buddy wanted to know what bacon had to do with terrorism...
TWA 800
:)
TWA 800. And it is very troubling. Center fuel tank, my eye. That plane was brought down by a missile.
he hehehe
I’m jes’ thinkin’... what if this was like the panty bomber situation, where before the fellow boarded your plane, he came in to the secure area of your airport via one or more legs on which a subsequent security problem was discovered, perhaps discovered outside the USA. Meaning that he was assumed to have been screened (for no-fly status, proper passport and visa, etc.) when he really hadn’t been, or something like that.
I like your idea. Good for you! But next thing you know CAIR will have bacon bits banned from flights cause it would be considered a terrorist act against Muzzies.
Great they apparently took the potential trouble maker off the plane after it landed.
A couple of years ago my wife and were flying back from Jacksonville, FLA with a layover in Vegas.
This was a few days after the uproar re no liquids on flights.
TSA was all over everyone. I intervened, when they over reacted with a WWII combat fighter pilot that was being miss handled.
Later, when we were on the plane before the take off and asked two young women to leave. The women were a little drunk, loud and protesting the new restrictions.
What we didn’t realize was the rear door was opened by the crew, 4 security people came aboard and escorted two probable MEs off the plane and back out the rear door. Those of us in the front of the plane didn’t know that happened, and most in the back didn’t see the young women being escorted. We found out what happened later at the luggage carousel.
Nothing that I know of was published about the escorting off the probable MEs and the young women in front.
Cavity search!
I recall reading about an assassination attempt where the hit man had a PETN suppository up where the sun don't shine. No airplane was involved.

GtG
Yes. But it was one of our own.

Sprinkle the bacon bits from the door down the aisle Hansel and Gretel style.
Now now, the C.I.A. has settled the issues with their flashy video don’tchaknow. And they aren’t political at all, right?

Bacon to a muzzie like garlic to a vampire. If only life were that easy.
Quite possibly. There was an awful lot of activity going on in the area that night.
Flight 800 reminders:

Was it TWA? It’s so long ago now that I’ve forgotten. We had tickets to fly to CA 2 days after that plane went down in New York Harbor, and we decided to drive to CA on the spur of the moment. We called Northwest Airlines and they said that they fully understood and said that we could change our tickets without any penalty. Re-used them about 8 months later. I’ve flown once since then — to Ireland — can’t drive there. The dates of our trip were 9-8-2001 with a return on 9-15-2001. Guess what happened while we were in Ireland?
I haven’t flown in a few years....but will this summer...and I’m dreading it.
I don’t think Obama cares a hoot about the arilines staying profitable.
I’m firmly convinced Obama really wants America to get hit again .. BECAUSE THAT WOULD GIVE HIM THE “OPPORTUNITY” TO DECLARE MARTIAL LAW - STOP THE ELECTIONS, AND IMPOSE WHO KNOWS WHAT UPON AMERICA.
Remember what Rahm said, “Never let a good opportunity go to waste”.
What was the status of the “ground person” ..??

as ID, don't you???
Well if no missile what was the coverup on Flt 800 all about, just for fun?

I like the bacon bits idea.....I’m going to start doing that too.
The orders from day one to the MSM was there will be no terrorist attacks.
Wherever he was; too close for comfort, in any event. . .
Sorry....I just woke drom a nap and missed that.
I was getting ready to board a flight out of Philadelphia the other day and saw something I had never seen before.
The preboarding was taking place when a group of four TSA officials wheeled a metal cart through the crowd and set up an additional security checkpoint right outside the gate. They pulled individuals randomly out of line and started searching their carry on bags.
The first person they pulled out of line was a middle aged, business woman. Come to think of it she kind of looked like Janet Napolitano. Heh.
Has anyone else ever seen this type of additional security scrutiny before?
I am willing to bet that he was released shortly thereafter and was laughing all the way to the mosque!
I’ve seen it. They used to do it all the time. They do it much less frequently now.
Think they’ll mind a whole hamhock?
