| Black farmers possibly over 70,000 of them will get cash payments and debt relief from the federal government totaling $1.25 billion, in reparation for alleged racial discrimination suffered under the Department of Agricultures loan programs, the Obama Administration has agreed.

Another “leader” we don’t need. There are some here that will get this I hope
Wait, was this in Zimbabwe?
The coup de grace for any hopes Obama had for a second term.
"Wait, was this in is Zimbabwe?!"
This is going to get real ugly!
Wait, was this in Zimbabwe? No, I think in Zimbabwe they take the farms.
Reparations....
Is this for the 40 acres and a mule that some never got as promised?
So, what kind of ?????-nomics is this Kenyan Clown practicing get-even-withmism-nomics or just plain Marx-African racist politics and practices; how convenient to have a massive slush-fund on hand.
here’s a story that helps explain it...

“Marx-African racist politics and practices”
You got it EXACTLY right.
I’m sending you some mail.
Is this for the 40 acres and a mule that some never got as promised?
- - - - - - -
What are their great grandchildren going to do with the mule?
That’s racist.
Zer0 is begging for a revolution. He is out of control.
More like there it went$$: REPARATIONS.
I’m so glad we’re a post-racial society.
What I don’t understand is that in the 90’s it was settled for 2.2 billion, Obama adds 1.2 billion for those that missed the dead line.
It was settled as a class action sort of deal, is what I’m understanding.
Why can’t the Hispanics get the same treatment? They’re told they must file as individuals.
Then, I wonder how will we ever afford this if we are fair, since the blacks got their reparations?
Will it ever end?
With inflation on the way, could be handy when gas prices hit $9 a gallon.
I guess it really is true that blacks can’t make it without handouts. It took a while, but now I’m convinced.
Obama is going for everything!
Outrageous overreach! Just the start of reparations.
Does that include rich black sportsmen who have invested in farming as a tax write off?
That’s strange, just yesterday this was Argentina.
Ya know I am so sick of that face I would rather have wall paper of Helen.
‘what’s wrong with spreading the wealth around a little’? /s never ends with this clown
In 1994, Dan Glickman was named secretary of agriculture, replacing Mississippian Mike Espy.
Two years later, a group of black farmers assembled outside the White House gates to protest racism within USDA. The national media covered the assemblage and aired the group’s charges.
Shortly thereafter, following a quick investigation,
Glickman said that the charges were indeed true: the agency he’d looked after for two years was shot through with racism.
No evidence of the found racism was offered. Instead, several things took place. First, Glickman created a Civil Rights Action Team (CRAT). Then, in January 1997, an 11-stop, coast-to-coast jaunt (termed a listening tour) was scheduled. According to reports, the tour was well-attended, and the 11-member CRAT did plenty of note-taking.

Change we all do not believe in. The runaway train is in full steam ahead and now it’s not monthly, or daily it is hourly - how much more change is going on behind closed doors. Frightening.
Will this start a trend?
All the brothers gonna turn in there doo rags and baggy pants for Cowboy Hats and Wranglers.
it’ll start a trend when Matt Drudge publishes the story, won’t it?
i wonder what is up w/that-him not publishing this story.

There is no question that the president of the United States simply lacks constitutional authority to hand $1.2 billion to farmers simply because they are black. It is even questionable whether the Constitution, even as it has been distorted to date, can be torqued enough to justify handing federal money to people because of their color. So how is this going to be accomplished?
Liberals favorite game changer is to simply change the rules in mid-play. If they don't like the result they are getting in state legislatures, they try Congress. If they don't like the results they get in Congress, they try the courts. If they still like the results, they try international treaties. If they still do like the results, for example with respect to affirmative action and universities' admissions, they simply together decide not to enforce the law and not to observe the law. The same is obviously true with respect to illegal immigration.
Since the American public would not stand for handing $1.2 billion to farmers just because they happen to be black, the deal is set up by way of the lawsuit which the Attorney General settles and the Democrat majority ratifies and, presto, you have a ratified result of an unconstitutional, grossly unpopular socialist and redistributionist political ploy.
Let the lawsuit be played out and let the government pay a judgment if there is one. Any judge who approves such a settlement is acting in violation of the Constitution and in violation of the separation of power. No court should permit itself to be manipulated by the other branches of government in this fashion. No legislature should permit itself to condone unconstitutional and undemocratic redistribution of wealth under the guise of a judicial action. These are flat out frauds. This is tyranny dressed in black robes.
Don’t worry about it, it’s only money. His next move will be to demand a bailout from Greece.
This started with Clinton.
What’s interesting is the story of the Hispanic family.
In the 50’s when their father ran the ranch, there was memories of peanuts, cotton and corn. They had a wedding party at the farm with 2000 in attendance. (lived well)
Now, they are glad their father isn’t alive to see the farm.
Does that mean there was less racism in the 50’s than in the 80’s-90’s?
Also with Glickman, no evidence offered, just said, yes, the offices he ran for 2 years was full of racism. Then formed a panel.
Appears the dems are good at this stuff.
It was out months ago, ‘bout Oct 2009 or so...
It would be 3.4 billion, Obama just added 1.2 billion to Clinton’s 2.2 billion.
:o
that’s 17800 dollars approx for each person...heck of lot of “walking around money”.

Seems to me the train has run off the cliff with all this
endless spending on BS like this,,,
It’s all about race with him,,,
Some of us have seen this comin’ for over a year now,,,
He has proven himself,,,
2010 will be a turning point for this country,,,
One way or the other...
I have not read the Drudge report since the Clinton Era.
The assaults on the procedures which apply the Constitution in fairness to our citizens is appalling. The Democrats threatened to cram their unwanted health care bill down our throats by violating Senate procedure. Failing to convince the people's elected representatives to tax energy emissions, and further failing to convince them to enter into a treaty, they will do it by regulation. Failing to secure Senate approval for their appointees, they create extraconstitutional "Czars."
The list can go on and on. We are confronted with a rogue government operating ultra vires our Constitution.
We are confronted by a government that is ruling by turning one race against another.
I am supposed to just accept it that giving them the money is better than loaning it too them. In a way he is repeating history but in this case he is pre-defaulting for these people getting free money. Plus they will get to avoid having to declare bankruptcy.
What the hell is going on here. Loans were made that should not have been granted, people defaulted and the housing and banking industries went down the chute. Am i supposed to think that.......My God this guy is an a**hole. I'm so disturbed by this give away and people actually cheer this imbecile on.
Ubama... Mugabe...
Different pieces of the same Marxist turd.
:o
I’m putting my waders on and offering a counter-point. This is not, to me, a slam dunk issue. It could in fact backfire on us if we do not have our ducks in a row.
[Just so you know, I’m not a lawyer.]
A civil rights suit is what the Civil Rights Act is all about. I agree, the constitutionality of that act probably should have required an amendment rather than legiislation. But here we are.
Farms are expensive things to run efficiently with the latest equipment. Reporting over the years has laid the groundwork for this settlement. This 1.5 billion is the kind of thing a REAL stimulus bill should
I’m not certain that this is truly “reparations”. As I understand it, this is a result of the Civil Rights Act.

Note, a 1964 study and a 1986 book. [But I admit they are just quick googles.]
Also, 1.5 billion is the least of our problems. If that was the worst BO did to the budget, that would be nothing. I don’t want to see redistribution, but a court settlement like this will hopefully settle this lawsuit for good. And I can’t think of a better time economically to settle such a suit.
Obama is guilty of much, but the article that explains things in a NORMAL fashion shows that he's not trying to do some across-the-board, class-action reparations thing. It's a case that was settled in the 1990's that was already funded to 2.2 billion, that ran out of cash because of inflation.
Newsmax is DEBKA, American-style.
This could even be an ambush to make us look like racists. Obama is desperate to fire up his base.
Nefore I comment on any article, I read two things: The title and the source. That’s all I read, of course — but it always gives me the whole picture. If the source is DEBKA or Newsmax, I know it’s pure BS. DEBKA and Newsmax cherrypick lines or facts to present an inaccurate picture almost as badly as TIME or Newsweek does.
Nefore = Before. MUST GET COFFEE
That's a heck of a lot of Thunderbird (and Koooool-aid!)
IIRC, Mike Espy was black.
