I heard many years ago, the feds give money to the schools to promote and award minority students over white. I am so not suprised. Anything to hold underachievers ahead.

....and replaced by whom? I left the military 16 years ago and that PC crap already had a good foot-hold then. Who would the Obama administration choose to replace him?

This news should be in bold print on the headlines of every newspaper and the leading story in the national news broadcasts. However, it will be conveniently discarded and buried by the Multicultural Marxists.

I thought the major did? Isn’t that like saying guns kill people, not the person that pulled the trigger?

ISLAM killed them. PC is the weapon used, but Islam is the killer, and it will kill us all unless we kill it.
Period.

Some people are under the impression, or simply want to believe, that the PC garbage is just a leftist thing. But in reality it's throughout the military and the federal government bureaucracies. And most of the senior officers are the most PC of all, otherwise they would not have become senior officers.

PCness is all through the federal government, and Republicans have made their contributions to it and I haven't heard any stories of any top officials fighting it and trying to turn back the lunacy. It'll take more Fort Hoods before anything meaningful is done. PCness is too entrenched, and Casey is just one of many well indoctrinated bureaucrats.

Yes, but starting with Gates. I know from my own experience that the culture of “diversity,” the culture of walking on egg shells so as not to offend any protected class of soldiers did not originate with Majors and Colonels. It is a climate that comes from the top, that shows itself in clearly obvious ways to those that will see and will continue until either the Secretary of Defense or President himself demands it end. Dont hold your breath on that one. And the Army is not alone, ask those at the Air Force Academy about political correctness.

Just a thought: So if you are Muslim and "proud of it" ... you cannot express it if you are in the military. Sounds like a "don't ask don't tell" policy to me. So the Muslims will now just "not tell" but still be there.

Sorry, but THESE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE IN OUR MILITARY! What kind of military enlists foreign, enemy soldiers? Would the terrorists allow the CIA folks to be in there ranks "translating?" (They'd behead them first!).

“I thought the major did? Isn’t that like saying guns kill people, not the person that pulled the trigger?”

No because the major was not an inanimate object like a gun. If you owned a gun that told you it hated non Muslims and wanted to kill them, but you kept it anyway, and then it did kill a bunch of innocent people by itself, that would be similar to this case.

Can affirmative action pull a trigger, or does it take a human being?

“But in reality it’s throughout the military and the federal government bureaucracies. And most of the senior officers are the most PC of all, otherwise they would not have become senior officers.”

Organizations like the military discourage independent thought. Members don’t think, as a rule, they follow orders. Good if those giving the orders are competent and freedom loving. Deadly if those giving the orders are socialist scum.

You think he would have killed 14 soldiers even if he had been kicked out of the military? If so we will have to agree to disagree.

BTW are we to assume you support having crazy Muslim fanatics in the military? ...cause that's what it sounds like.

I'm trying to think of non-PC institutions nowadays and my list is very short. Expansive non-discrimination laws have cleared out businesses and other private orgs of any non-PC sentiment.

It doesn't help that the GOP punditry loves making frivolous accusations of racism, sexism, etc. almost as much as a Berkeley activist.

Probably the only non-PC institutions in the US now are local institutions, in the areas that are almost 100% white, rural areas and small towns in many areas, and the near all white states in the North and West. Wherever there's 'diversity' there is bound to be PCness.
