Proving nothing other than McCain is an economic and financial dim bulb.

He’s had more than a year to get on the stick about dealing with the banks, and he’s done nothing.

That’s the central problem for the GOP now. They’ve had a YEAR to instigate policy responses, if not actual legislation, that they could propose about the financial sector, and yet they’ve remained as useless as bumps on a log.

This is one of the reasons why I don’t hold out much hope for the Republicans doing anything constructive if they retake Congress (one or both houses). They’re simply too stupid about finance to deal with the issues.

Hey, McCain, don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of time on your hands to think about it after Nov.

Perhaps we should find a Senator with better judgment.

In other words, “it’s Bush’s fault.”

Hmmmm...where do we hear that from? From the RATS...welcome to your true identity McLame...

Take some responsiblity for your actions.

However well versed he is in other matters.....McCain is an imbecile on economics. Sure the banksters can bamboozle such an arrogant old fool.

So he’s too stupid to be a senator.

Hey John, go home, we don’t want you up there any more... you use people, your rational is flawed, and you’re no conservative. And Hey Sarah, John is a political leper, stay away form him if you want to survive as a viable political anything.

Yep. A retired military officer reading news accounts wasn’t fooled, but a US Senator and GOP nominee for President...well, who can blame him? Tricky bastards in DC, so lets send him back????????????

BS!
All delinquents blames it on "falling in with the wrong crowd", but nobody ever admits to being the wrong crowd.

The problem isn’t that they haven’t done anything, the problem is they don’t think anything should be done at all.

Great post/thread. The good-statist/bad-statist routine is wearing out its welcome John McStatist. Resign. You’re too ignorant/deceptive to be of any service.

Exactly correct. There’s a problem of epistemology here.

I think it probably means he nodded off in the meeting where they were discussing it.

Frankly I don’t care if he was fooled or not. The simple fact is that he simply ignored the screaming will of the people and went ahead and voted for it anyway.
