I’m also waiting for his excuse on support for cap n trade. I think Hayworth can have good results by reminding people of his “bi-partisan” betrayal of American interests for this hoax.

McCain: “I was misled on bailout.”

Conservatives: “Democrats proposed it. Why didn’t that fact alone tell you it would be a gargantuan lie?”

>>>>>But McCain stopped short of calling the TARP a mistake.

Two-faced McCain says he was misled, BUT, TARP was not a mistake. LOL

Go JD!

It’s not gonna work Juan. You mean you want us to believe that you were misled (until you’re relelcted for another 6 years). Then it’s business as usual - screw your conservative base again.

There are a lot of so-called conservatives who plan to vote for McCain over JD Hayworth. Maybe JD isn’t the perfect candidate, but we KNOW McCain is a stab-conservatives-in-the-back Republican, don’t we? If you want conservative government, you’d have to be a real moron (trying to be nice here) to vote for McCain.

I just want to warn folks that McCain is going to go scorched earth on JD. I only wish he would have used some of his million dollar war chest and political ire on Obama in 2008. No, he’s saved the lion’s share of it for JD, and you can bet he’ll pull out all the stops.

The point is, McCain supporters will do everything they can to spoil enthusiasm for JD. If they can convince people that JD doesn’t have a chance in the general election, McCain might win by virtue of being the perceived “electable” candidate (rather than on his own record, which STINKS!).

“Time for a long and happy retirement, John.

John, as usual, you went along with the liberals instead of conservative Republicans. You weren’t missled, you did what you normally do, supported the other side as a misguided so called maverick.

Please retire, John!

As a veteran, I continue to feel that Johnnie had just a bit too much torture in NVN. Some already weak neural connections were messed up.

I read this title and I knew BS! Great archive of articles from the time. It "outs" McQueeg's "Lying History"* version that he's shoveling now. The dude thought that "suspending his entire campaign" to fly to DC to "lead" (snicker) this bailout was incredibly strategic. It only proved he was a putz who was pwned by 0/Dems (which we knew).

I'm betting that this was Steve Schmidt's 'brilliant' idea that McQueeq bought hook line & sinker.

*

Hill, you're dreamy. Loved that book title "Lying History" so much, I'm using it.

Sure McCain isn’t all bad but a guy getting a gubbermint check all his life (like McCain and Obama) won’t know the first thing about the private sector and capitalism

Just look at Bamster’s jobs program....All government jobs> Not a single private sector job was saved or created. Obama’s concept of job creation meaning gubbermint job creation. Meaning more socialism and more money sucked out of the private sector to subsidize gov’t drones and AA hires

Well, if after going to the trouble of rushing to Washington to attend to the matter in the middle of a Presidential campaign, with the benefit of Senatorial staff, who presumably were keeping on top of things while you were campaigning, you were so easily misled into supporting a policy most of us could see from afar was a disaster in the making, then Senator McCain, it is time for you to acknowledge that whatever gift for statesmanship you may have once had has waned to the point that you are no longer able to effectively serve the people of Arizona as their Senator.

I suggest you do your state, the country, and your party a favor and suspend your reelection campaign, permanently.

I’ll try to find out

The ONLY good thing from McLame is that he ACTUALLY KNEW ABOUT AND TRIED TO STOP Fannie May BEFORE the housing financial crisis- but he let Bawney Frank walk all over him and let it happen.

And now he doesn’t have the sense to be PROSECUTING FRANK AND THE DEMOCRAPS for this!!

IF YOU HAD A PAIR MCLAME YOU WOULD NOT EVEN BE RUNNING FOR YOUR LIFE IN A PRIMARY!!! YOU WOULOD BE SCREAMING FROM THE ROOFTAPS FOR FRANK AND DODD TO BE JAILED!!!

Can’t even raise a child.

If you take his word for it, that would mean he’s too inept and senile to be in the Senate and should be voted out pronto.

But I’m not taking his word for it.

Either way, See ya Mac. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
