Jay-Z talks British politics, says Britain needs Obama-like leader

HE helped get the first black man into the White House - and now JAY-Z reckons he knows how to fix Broken Britain too. The power to bring change, he says, in in our own hands.

The US rapper who picked up a Brit for Best International Male Solo Artist on Tuesday tells The Sun in an exclusive interview that change will only come if people use their vote at the next election.

However, he reckons neither GORDON BROWN nor DAVID CAMERON have the charisma of PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA.

Jay-Z said: "Everyone needs new blood once in a while. And Britain needs it to shake up the country. People are calling it Broken Britain, so there's obviously a problem.

"Someone needs to reinvigorate and galvanise the country and give it something to believe in. That means a leader with charisma to get the youth out to vote.

"The rise of the BNP is also a problem. Power is dangerous in the hands of the wrong person and it's up to the people to get them out of there - which goes back to voting.

Another idiot celeb. The reason the BNP is rising is because Labor has completely destroyed Britain. And the reason celebs dislike the BNP is because they do not bow to Hollywood vermin.

In an odd way, he’s right. Obama DID “reinvigorate and galvanise the country” by awaking the slient conservative majority.

Jay-Z is so ignorant that he wears Che’ t-shirts and doesn’t realize that Che’ hated blacks. Also, have heard that the “Jay” stands for “Jehovah” - Arrogant and ignorant - what a dangerous combination.

When I think of intellectual heavyweights, I definitely think of Jay-Z.

(Von Mises, Menger, Hayek, Tacitus, Plato, Justinian, Friedman, Buckley, JAY-Z, Machiavelli, Solzhenitsyn, etc...)

LOL Why does this celebtard think the BNP is dangerous? It’s only a party which is trying to save the British way of life, their culture, stop the out-of-control muslim immigration. Yeah, that’s dangerous. /sarc off

President Barack Obama has publicly acknowledged that he is a fan of Jay-Z, and, according to the “99 Problems” rapper, the President especially likes listening to The Blueprint 3 when he works out.

Federal Investigation to Probe Jay-Z Racino Venture

Jay-Z’s relationship with NY Governor David Paterson is one of the points of interest in a federal investigation into AEG’s multi-billion dollar deal for the Aqueduct Race Track racino.

The issue revolves around whether the bid selection process was unethical. Questions have arose following AEG’s successful bid since they courted Jay-Z, a good friend of Gov. Paterson, several months before the racino selection was completed.

Last month, Governor Patterson awarded AEG (Aqueduct Entertainment Group) with the contract to upgrade the existing Aqueduct Race Track venue, the only one located within the New York City limits.

The new state of the art gaming site will boast 4,500 video slot machines.

AEG chairman Richard Mays first approached Jay-Z last September, following the rapper’s press conference with Gov.

Intellectual genius.

Originally from Marcy Houses housing project in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City, Jay-Z was abandoned by his father and at 12 years old, he shot his brother in the shoulder for stealing his jewelry. Jay-Z attended Eli Whitney High School in Brooklyn, along with rapper AZ, until it was closed down. After that he attended George Westinghouse Information Technology High School in Downtown Brooklyn, which fellow rappers The Notorious B.I.G. and Busta Rhymes also attended, and Trenton Central High School in Trenton, New Jersey, but did not graduate. In his music he refers to having been involved in selling crack cocaine.

Information Technology High School?

This rap culture has done a lot of damage, from car-jackings, to glorifying crime, etc. So many American youth have grown up with it (since about 1990 or 1991 when MTV helped popularize it) that they don't know any different. Which is what Obama hoped to play to.

The president of the United States of America.

In Russia assassinations happen, political especially, but the leaders who do make it to the top are usually skilled at protecting the interests of their country. All of them are cold, hard, disciplined killers which these idiot rappers aren’t.

I swear, it's stories like this that make me feel like I'm living in the movie "Idiocracy" and the inmates are running the asylum.

JAY-Z is why idiots are idiots and not advice columnists, political pundits or university professors.

They’re occasionally entertaining, but not very bright!!!

Well, like most deluded useful idiots he thinks he put obama where he is and Obama does ntohing to dispell this delusion. I suppose JayZ thinks he has the ability to play with the world’s leaders as an equal, like Obama thinks he does.

It’s ambition and the desire to be a power player. The actual playesr though don’t go into entertainment.
