He clearly deserves a gold medal in the Olympic Public Opinion Downhill event. I predict that this remarkable record will be unchallenged for decades to come.

Amen to that! Obama has done two things well: Awakened the sleeping Conservative Giant that is Patriotic America and tremendously helped Guns n' Ammo sales across our great Republic! Hey Chuckie, what do you think of that?

Sen. Scot Brown's number is 202-224-5443

I tried calling today and only got a message recorder. I am going to call again tomorrow and I will give the poor intern on the other a rant to give back to Scott Brown....basically that he owes his election & campaign funding to Tea Party members, conservatives & FReepers. Most of his funding came from outside MA from these concerned citizens (myself included) who were all very much anxious to put a halt to the 0bozo healthcare debacle & rampant, uncontrolled Federal gubmint spending by Obozo & the socialist demoRATs. Brown does NOT owe his election to moderates. So I hope & pray that Scott Brown will wake up and not squander the incredible reservoir of conservative goodwill that is in his favor, the way the dumbo GW Bush squandered his conservative base. Brown can become a great Senator if he pulls his head out of his ass and just for once, it would be great to see a moderate break to the Right, not to the socialist-commie pig left.

Steve King from Iowa is owning Moabama right now. He read the socailist party platform right on the floor of the house, and just outright called him a Marxist.

Way to go Steve King. And now there needs to be rising groundswell & chorus of Repubs who are all saying the same thing over & over again. It is time to carry the battle to the enemy 0bozo the commie pig and the socialist demoRATs.

They limit the calls they can take in DC....call local offices when ever possible for your state. Brown doesn’t have a web site up yet.

While I share your anger, we must fight smarter not harder.

The first step of resistants will be active and determined nullification.

This is a great posting, with excellent & timeless quotes from our Declaration of Independence, and John Adams & James Madison.

Just curious...did James Madison write the Federalist Papers?

With regard to your question about whether Madison wrote THE FEDERALIST, the 85 newspaper essays published to explain the new Constitution to ordinary farmers and citizens of the day, one great source for information about them--the text, the writers, etc.--can be found here. Michael Chadwick is running for Congress in Idaho, and his web site contains a wealth of documents from the nation's founding, the writings and speeches of the Founders, as well as most of the speeches of Ronald Reagan. Just go to the "Home" page and click on the appropriate tabs on the Left side of the page.
