if it is in fact muslim terrorism at Luke AB this a.m., believe me, before their politically correct information firewall is fully up to contain it and begin the official blackout, it will slip out....(just as in the first hour or two after Ft. Hood people talked too much and were then told to “shut up” about the muzzie dimension......some eyewitness, or a police scanner, or some interview where the guard talks too much.......it always happens..... just watch.

Give the security forces officer a medal. He did it right. When the perps drove the car directly at him, he opened fire, the car crashed, and one of the two individuals in the vehicle (most probably the driver) is dead.
Sounds ridiculous. Car thieves crashing through a high security military base gate. Even if they were lost, once they saw they were at a military base, why not turn around rather than risk getting caught? Doesn't pass the smell test. IMO
First thing I thought of as they didn’t when I was in (68-72).
Of course it was stressed that it had nothing to do with terrorists.

They're probably correct (for once) NOT terrorism. If it were there be a heckuva lot more dead and injured. I'll bet it was something else, maybe work evaluation related or personal relationship issues (don't ask don't tell?). But not Jihadi, of that I'm sure. If the body count rises to 12 then it means something else.

I agree. It sounds like they were stopped from doing whatever they planned once inside the gates. It sounds like they were stopped outside the gates. Has anyone checked the trunk yet?

Our recent transplants from south of the border must not understand the concept of “No Trespassing”
But they were stopped at the gate. Had they gotten through it could have turned out worse. Once the identities are released we can better assess the situation.
It is starting to look like the “Gated Comminities” here in S. Florida are more secure than our Military Bases.

I’ve been through that gate a time or two.
It’s not all that hard to make that mistake if you’re unfamiliar with the area.
And there are a lot of young hoods in the Phoenix area who don’t have a clue about the US.
I just heard that “local police” have taken over the case. Why? I thought that this would be something for the military to handle. Does anyone know how this stuff works?
