Go ahead Keith, put your father out of his misery, and then go straight to Jail. Do not pass GO.

If your father asks you to kill him instead of being taken by the hand of God you come from bad stock.

Someone should be held accountable for bringing Keith Olbermann into this world.
To: Free ThinkerNY
So there ARE "Death Panels", except now Keith wants to call them "Life Panels", and they're SO VITALLY IMPORTANT that he doesn't want to pay for them.
Seriously, do you really need to collect money from taxpayers so that they can pay a doctor to tell you about death? Is there really a lack of information on the internet and elsewhere on the subject?

Reading this made me think of a well-known phrase - the “criminally insane”. Olbermann may not be, but he certainly sounds like it.

Keith, you are a wealthy guy, why aren’t you properly taking care of your father?
Why is it you expect others to pay for and take of care of your father?
What a sleaze ball.

This is what bugs me about the whole elitist mindset. They think something isn’t worth learning unless you pay some “professional” with a fancy degree to tell it to you. And then they think it’s the height of outrage when the professional charges money for their services.

"Its a life panel, and damn those who call it otherwise to hell!" When I become evil dictator of the world, I'll round people up and have them put in "life camps," and be outraged when people call them other things.

Sorry, Keith, but just about anything "optional" soon becomes mandatory if the government decides that it would save a few bucks. I don't want to live in your Logan's Run fantasy world.

Make him a DNR Kieth and provide hospice care. People do this every day. I had to do it to my mother. It was the worst thing I ever had to do but when your liver stops working, it’s all over. Your father’s time has come. Give him the peace he seeks and, for God’s sakes, don’t use his suffering as fodder for political commentary.

Olby is half the man his mother was. If he were twice as smart as he is now, he’d still be an imbecile.

Olberman's pop should stop watching the news.....or maybe it was the sport's reporting that drove him to this. He should cut that out too.
Either way, he'll feel much better.

Could Mr. O not kill himself? Why does he try to make his son do it?
I did not watch the video, and I’m not going to, so apologies in advance if this was addressed.
Also, I am not encouraging Mr. O to kill himself. I just don’t know why he wants to go out and make his son a murderer at the same time. Why does he want to place this burden on his son?

He knows his son is capable of killing him or he would not have asked. Olberman is a dangerous, fascist kook.
To: Free ThinkerNY
I can only assume Olbermann is atheist. His story sounds exactly like what happened to my dad. When my dad made his wishes known, me an my brother and sister pulled the respirator and let him die.
If you believe there is more to this Earthly existence than this Earthly existence, it is terribly sad, but it is not hard.
If you believe there is nothing more, and there is no stoicism in your life philosophy, you have no choice but to hang on.
But I am offended by Olberwoman's insistence on making it my problem. I am sorry, Keith, but I pulled the plug on my dad, so I all I hear from you is "blah, blah, blah".
It was a great experience and great lesson. Death with dignity. Deep religious belief. Acceptance and solitude. Keith, I am sorry you are not the man I am, and I am sorry you do not have the father I had. But don't make your inadequacy my guilt.

Was this the same rant where Olbermann referred to Sarah Palin as “subhuman”?
Imagine how old man Olbermann feels, knowing he’s dying and that his son is a dangerous lunatic.
