Ronald Reagan Speaks Out Against Socialized Medicine
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRdLpem-AAs
This has been a matter of public record for decades and should have been aired as campaign material in 2008.
Those in talk radio have sat on it until now. The youtube clips have been online for years.
It have great information. Conservatives and Republicans in the media SAT ON IT. I am worried that it comes too late.
Reagan’s point is that if we allow it to pass, the rest of the sh** sandwich comes along incrementally. We don’t want it at ALL.
The only “compromise” is to have changes like medical savings accounts (which dead Ted Kennedy fought for decades), interstate bidding for insurance, and tort reform. Expanding uninsured government coverage is socialized medicine and the list of who’s covered will continue to grow.
They aren’t talking about SCRAPPING the bill and starting over, today.
We have Obama talking about his vision of Government Single Payer as the end goal video.
It is painfully obvious that Socialist government take over is the goal of Democrats and not just the radicals.. The entire Party has been Hijacked by the fanatics...
The people who rioted in the streets and inside of the halls of the 1968 Democrat Convention now run the party, the universities, and the media.
Barack Obama is a red diaper doper baby.
This is their velvet revolution and that’s just what the proud media called it in January 2009.
Reagan certainly didn't do it during his presidency.
Same goes for Social Security as well.
And quoted every day on CSPAN.
Reagan’s arguments are against opening the door for an incrementally expanding agenda.
Barack Obama has said that his program is not socialism and “besides” people like the socialism of medicare. He tries to play both sides of that coin.
Since ALL of talk radio decided to air this this week, either they all get show prep by listening to the other shows, or they were instructed to “hold off”. I myself had emailed them the links on this years ago (2008).
But the fact is that Reagan was directly challenging the implementation of Medicare which he believed, as you rightly characterized, was “opening the door for an incrementally expanding agenda”.
