"It is believed they were helping CalFire serve a search warrant on an arson suspect when gunshots rang out."
The latest update on the radio at KMJ is that a Reedley Police Officer who responded to assist was also shot. Thus far, two Deputies and a Reedley Officer have been wounded. One of the officers is in fair condition and two are in serious condition.
The reporter said that he heard about a hundred shots.

The community of Minkler is very small, and is unincorporated. It is a few miles from the foothills though.

Thank you. I also include the Reedley Officer in my prayers. Reedley is probably over 10 miles from Minkler. The Fresno Police Department would be about 20 miles from Minkler.
