Environmental activists have blasted Harrison Ford for making "unnecessary" trips by air, following revelations he once made a jet journey to buy a cheeseburger.

Now if that was an “In and Out” burger, it was well worth it.
WHY aren’t they talking to Queen Nancy??? HER carbon footprint is huge - not to mention what it costs us taxpayers!
And there was that helicopter trip over to Martha’s Vineyard just to have lunch with Sabrina...
Indy was looking for antiquities
For those that might not know, Harrison Ford is the head of the Young Eagles program, designed to give youngsters free flights to help them perhaps focus on aviation as a career. He has flown countless flights and is heavily involved in the national program.
How about a Big Kauna Burger? Hmmmm-Hmmmmmm That is a tasty burger!
If I had the money, I'd pay a helicopter to hover above my home to help my clothes-line laundry dry faster, just to see the enviro-whack-jobs wet themselves.
serves this Lib right.
Mr. Big Obama supporter deserves what he gets.
I dropped an “h” in my Kahuna. I hate it when that happens.
I have made more than one flight in search of a $100 hamburger. Found it every time, too.
He earned the money and he can spend it on whatever he wants, wherever he wants it and however he wants it.
It’s nobody’s damned business what he does with it. Period.
Exactly! No one has a carbon footprint bigger than botox beyoootch.
Hamburgers - The cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast.
..because they know Nanzi will push their agenda
don’t know what his politics are... (and that’s the way I loke it) but He seems to be a good neighbor. He has been know to take his helicopter up on search and rescue missions.
More Americans know who Harrison Ford is.
Was he an O supporter?
**He earned the money and he can spend it on whatever he wants, wherever he wants it and however he wants it.**
DITTO ... but you have to admit it’s MORE Fun watching the EnviroWeenies trying to EAT THEIR OWN.
Amen brother. I remember when the $100 hamburger was only $100.
Well said! Seems I remember his “evil” helicopter flying resulted in the rescue of a lost Boy Scout too.
Yum.... I had a 3x3 for lunch one day last week. Oh, the cheesy, meaty goodness...
And their fries are to die for.
Include me in - for a Double-Double!
Harrison Ford is certainly no stranger to assuming the role of a hero. From Han Solo to Indiana Jones, Ford has created some of the most memorable and likeable heroes ever to appear on the big screen. Lately, however, Ford has been called upon to test his real-life valor, his flying skills in particular, in order to rescue people in the Rocky Mountains near his home in Jackson, Wyoming.
Ford, a part-time Jackson resident who routinely offers his flying skills and helicopter for rescue missions, joined a search for a missing Utah Boy Scout who had wandered off a trail Monday and spent a cold night alone in the secluded forest, said the Teton County Sheriff’s Office in Wyoming. After two hours of searching, Ford and another rescuer found 13-year-old Cody Clawson, about 10 miles from a Boy Scout camp at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. He landed nearby to whisk the soggy, cold, tired and hungry scout to safety.
This was not the first time that Ford has participated in a successful rescue mission. Last July, he plucked an Idaho Falls, Idaho, hiker off 11,106-foot Table Mountain in Teton County. Megan Freeman climbed the mountain, but altitude sickness and dehydration left her ill and unable to climb down. Ford picked her up and flew her to a nearby hospital. Harrison Ford: a favorite on the screen and off.

I wuz only in LA once, just this past December..... Had a Habit Burger....
Wish they had those places on the East Coast!
Great. But I don't want to hear anything out of his mouth about environmentalism, or how the rest of us should cut back.
Do they slam Al Gore-bechev for all his unnecessary jet trips? At least when Harrison goes on a sky ride it pays many salaries and supports an Airline. Do they dress down the POTUS for using AFI for a date night in NYC? Gore-bechev owns his own plane. You and I pay for AFI. I wonder where Ford went for that cheeseburger? It must have been something else!
Feb 12, 2010 ... Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford used his own plane to fly medical volunteers and supplies to Haiti.
... now I’m riled up and want to slap a hippy!
If he's spending his money, it doesn't matter.
If he's spending taxpayers' money, then I would care.
“But I don’t want to hear anything out of his mouth about environmentalism”
This acrticle wasn’t about that.
I’ve always like him, but the earrings ahve got to go.
Hey, but the fool drives a Toyoda Pious!
This is a UK website reporting Harrison. How much you wanna bet we find Al Gore behind them? His hedge fund is in Europe. Basically they want good ol’ Harrison to ante up some and pay for some carbon credits. I mean if he can afford to fly for a cheeseburger he can be the first fool to pay us some blackmail/hush money. Looks like wifey of the website owner is talking head.

Like his parents, Ford is a lifelong Democrat, and a close friend of former President Bill Clinton.
On September 7, 1995, Ford testified before Congress in support of the Dalai Lama and an independent Tibet. In 2008, he narrated the documentary Dalai Lama Renaissance.
In 2003 he publicly condemned the Iraq War, and called for “regime change” in the United States. He also criticized Hollywood for making violent movies, and called for more gun control in the United States. He opposed the recall of Californian Governor Gray Davis, and stated in an interview that replacing Davis with Arnold Schwarzenegger would be a mistake.
If he’s spending his money, he’s a Republican.
If he’s spending taxpayers’ money, he’s a Democrat.
I mean never, before and after the article inclusive.
Not what I meant.....
I don’t think he sounds like a lib..... don’t know his politics.
I have never heard anything attibuted to him that was way left.... Kinda pay attention because of the aviation thang....
Personally, I hope he takes the bird out everyday and punches holes in the sky... I do it as often as possible.
I don’t know why conservatives even rise to the argument about CO2 emissions.
CO2 is PLANT FOOD; then the plant gives us oxygen. Where is the problem?
If anyone took the time to look up what percentage of the atmosphere is CO2; even if it were doubled it would be insignificant.
My bad! I should have read the entire article before posting. How Harrison Ford gets his hamburgers is no one’s business. He is a private citizen and pays his own way!
WOW!! I did not know that!
