The Democratic National Committee's Organizing for America has quietly launched an initiative aimed at making Obama supporters' voices heard on the largely conservative airwaves.
"The fate of health reform has been a focus of debate in living rooms and offices, on TV and online -- and on talk radio. And since millions of folks turn to talk radio as a trusted source of news and opinions, we need to make sure OFA supporters are calling in with a pro-reform message," says the introduction to the online tool.
The online tool presents users with a radio show discussing political topics, to which supporters can listen live, and the phone number for that station, for when health care comes up. It also offers tips for callers and talking points on the issue.

The list, ping
"First, let me say that I am a lifelong conservative..."
Keep a close watch on where the money is coming from.
Seminar caller-palooza !!
This is a reason the talk show hosts need to cut the crap. All of them.
ROFL!
I wonder which bright young ‘Rat staffer thought THIS one up?
This has “career-limiting idea” written all over it.
Taxpayer funded ACORN thugs try to intimidate talk radio.
BRING IT ON!
Obama...your message has gotten out loud and clear...that is why you are going to be a one-termer.
Who is Ellie Light?
They can waste all the money they want on conservative air time. Our radar is keen enough to pick up the Progressive screed. We ain’t buying, but we are rising.
Based on this new “initiative, the big name talk radio shows should now deal exclusively with emails only. At least until after the 2010 elecion. So there.
I am worried if our talk show guys keep picking on each other that these scum will expolit that.
WWhich may have already happened.
RATS are conniving liars.
Ellie Light is the fake letter writer that got the same DNC screed published in multiple newspapers.
pardon my stutter
Let ‘em try. I can’t wait. It should be quite amusing and the more they talk, the more ammunition they give their enemies.
flop flop flop flop —— it’s the sound your OFA car makes after the blowout and before the OFA car hits the tree.
I bet the 2012 will finally solve the Natural Born, birth certificate and the citizenship issue.
It already happened on CSPAN today. Get ready it will get worse.
The purpose of the callers is to make the host look good. For this reason, seminar callers are coached during the pre-air screening they should appear very soft on facts, and simply keep repeating that they FEEL STRONGLY about their topic. Then they get on the air, and bust out with the talking points —LOTS of specifics.
They also start out with something like, “I am a staunch Republican, BUUUUT....” another one is, “I voted twice for George W. Bush” then they go down the list uttering all kinds of the most standard liberal clap-trap imaginable.
Nah, the good ones can smell out a seminar caller pretty quickly. They can’t control themselves. After about 15-30 seconds, they start in with insults or “Bush’s fault” or something loopy.
It was a retorical question. Like “who is John Galt”?
That is soooooo funny!
So, Rush and Glenn can charge whatever they want for their ads - and then slam the idiots for three straight hours.
What lunatics!
Nah, most of the hosts love to “debate” leftists, who mostly avoid answering questions, can’t explain their position, and return like a boomerang to their talking points as both questions and answers no matter how inappropriate to the flow of the conversation.
CALLING TIPS
* Be polite, respectful, and clear. Remember, you represent Organizing for America.
* How radio stations will connect you will depend on the show. Some radio shows may connect you right away, but most will take your name and basic info and put you on hold. You may or may not be able to hear the broadcast on the show while you’re waiting. You may hear the radio host say something like, “Hello, we have your name on the line with us.”
* Some hosts may challenge your views. Stay calm and firm. Sharing a personal story about how health reform affects you and your family is a great way to show the importance and urgency of health reform.
* If you can’t get through, don’t worry! If the show you call is busy or not accepting calls at the moment you call in, simply click “Give me another show” to find another.
DISCUSSION POINTS
These points are only to provide extra information and suggestions. Your personal story will make the most compelling message.
* For most Americans, their health care plan covers too little and costs too much. Far too many people delay or even skip the care they need because they simply cant afford it.
* The plan the President laid out includes the largest health care tax cut for middle class families in history and makes coverage more affordable for tens of millions of families and small business owners and expands coverage to over 31 million Americans who are currently uninsured.
* This plan will give millions of Americans new choices in health insurance by making coverage more affordable, ending the denial of coverage for pre-existing conditions, putting power in the hands of consumers instead of insurance companies and providing one of the largest tax cuts in history while also reducing our national deficit.
* Reform couldnt be more urgent just this month consumers in California were told their premiums could go up as much as 39 percent.
* Too many in Washington are now saying that we should delay or give up on reform entirely, but Americans understand the stakes for our economy and our lives, and we want action.
There’s a menu for telling them “how your call went”. I hope that gets a lot of use from those who despise Obama and his latest pathetic little attempt to imitate Joseph Goebbels.
Give them all the rope they want.
They believe we are as stupid as they.
You guys are right Rush or Levin would eat these guys alive.
Seminar Callers
Once a guy calls, say, Laura Ingraham and it comes to light that he's a seminar caller his phone number and his voice profile go into a database that can be shared with everyone else.
Next day, just as an example, Hannity gets a call from the same phone number, he knows it's Dave who called Ingraham yesterday. Or a different number, but the voice profile is matched up by the voice recognition software with a known seminar caller, a big light lights up.
Maybe they already have such a thing... :)
“... and I voted for Bush twice, but...”
Rush lets them go on for a while to let them show the world what an idiot they are. Levin pulls out the machete.
I like Levin’s tactic better.
Alinksy the MF’ers. Ridicule them when they call. Humiliate them.
Or better yet, get a producer who can identify them when they call, leave them on hold forever and never put them on the air.
Or some combination of the two.
Hannity doesn't. He lets them take over his show.
It seems the same people who thought this up also gave talking points to Obama, et al, today!
“...but most will take your name and basic info and put you on hold.”
Once the screeners figure out they’re seminar callers, they should put them on hold - forever.
And who knows, while they’re listening to the show on hold, they may actually learn something (unlikely, but couldn’t hurt).
GET OFF THE PHONE, YOU DOPE!
Now let’s see, next we have Harry, a Democrat from Las Vegas, listening on the great KXNT. GO!
“Hannity doesn’t. He lets them take over his show.”
That’s why I didn’t include him, I think he would do better to just accept E-mails when they begin this.
Keep a close watch on where the money is coming from.
Soros, et al - they’re running & funding the WHOLE show.
PLEASE let these liberal morons call Mark Levin!
Once a guy calls, say, Laura Ingraham and it comes to light that he's a seminar caller his phone number and his voice profile go into a database that can be shared with everyone else.
They can start with "John from Libertyville" (IL).
Mr. niteowl77
I haven't listened to CPAN in years because of that.
I always think of Hannity as the kid who wants everybody to like him.
Rush and Levin will eat these clowns up and spit them out. They let them do their schtick and then ask them a pointed question. Which, of course, they never have an answer for. Their immediate response is “but what about.”
And let’s face it — these liberal morons can’t stay polite for long. Once they know their backs are against the wall, they start blabbering and that’s when Levin turns their sound down so he can talk. I always love it - he turns their sound back up again and you hear them prattering away - they thought they’d been on the air the whole time.
I think of Hannity as a simpleton with a very boring and predictable show; especially on radio, where he doesn't have others to distract from the fact that he's a party drone that's never had an original thought.
Agreed.
Hannity always manages to shill his concerts, though. Thats what I hear when I tune in. He talks tough, but when he has the chance to skewer a liberal in an interview, he backs off.
Rush is the King. Levin is great too.
